Hello Ximboland

Lots of new starts here in Ximboland today.
In brief:

1) New government.

It gives me pleasure to introduce your new government -
Minister of Justice - @Blecky89
Minister of Foreign Affairs - @DeanWinchester
Minister of Fashion - @TokiKonoe

Thanks very much for stepping up and leading Ximboland. You are all Ximbo veterans whom have dedicated a lot to Ximboland and we are lucky to have you. Good luck in your new roles and I look forward to working with you.

2) New constitution
As shared earlier

3) I have previously shared our new laws with you but we have them in full to share with you.

The main changes that will affect you are the laws around treason and the freedom of speech. We simply can not get on with building Ximboland when we are under attack from enemy Ximbos from within whom are hell bent on undermining the legitimacy of my presidency, my appointed colleagues, our democracy and Ximboland in general.
It will no longer be tolerated or acceptable to undermine me/the President/Ximboland or my appointed staff by questioning the legitimacy of my Presidency or their appointments.
Equally it will no longer be acceptable to undermine the legitimacy of our Ximboland mission and democracy. I
f you do this you can expect to be jailed and then exiled. We have enough problems already without wasting our time allowing political enemies from within to take away our positive energy.
This is not to say we dont value and respect freedom of speech and criticism. They are important but it must be within the context of respecting our legitimate positions and our legitimate democracy. If you can't be intelligent, self aware and able to navigate your words across this tightrope carefully then you can expect to be exiled.
Laws below.
Our new Minister of Justice has been entrusted with the task of enforcing these new laws with the addition of her own sub-laws.

4) New civility
We expect these new laws to usher in a dawn of civility in Ximboland.

5) New design
Our new design is slightly more adult and was supposed to go live 2 weeks ago but that selfish hacker wasted all our times and has put us back 2 weeks.

Laws of the Fashionable republic of Ximboland - Governance

Government Structure

Freedom of Speech

Treason

Laws on Government Structure

The establishment of the Fashionable republic of Ximboland is a response to the widespread demand for a democratic alternative to autocratic social media governance. The world’s major social media platforms claim to be based on good will and fair governance however most seek to impose their world-view on their users.

Ximboland is an antidote to this and leads the world in being run and governed as democratically as possible - for its users by its users. By Ximbos for Ximbos.

The republic was founded in 2007 by Sindy Laarson I aka Miss Bimbo. Sindy Laarson later went on to become the first and only serving President - President Sindy Laarson I.

In Ximboland we have 2 sets of legislation - Presidential or Palace laws (sometimes called fixed laws) and governmental or Pink house laws (sometimes called flexible laws because they regularly change).

The Presidential (Fixed) laws are set in stone and can not be changed by anyone except the President , Miss Bimbo Sindy Laarson I. These laws are long term in their nature.

Pink House or flexible laws can be changed by the elected Ximbo government of the day. Where possible we try to ensure as many laws and aspects of Ximboland are flexible and can be changed by the elected government of the day. Because government terms last only 3 months these laws are sometimes subject to regular change. Whilst this means that change is a relatively constant occurrence we believe that this is a price worth paying in order to defend democracy and to keep Ximboland free from the oppression and totalitarianism that envelopes other platforms.

Presidential (fixed) laws around Government Structure

The government structure of Ximboland is fixed and is the core of our identity. The power of lawmaking in Ximboland will never fall under totalitarian autocratic rule. Those powers will always be shared between the President and the elected government office. To give up on this premise is to give up on the founding goal ie of creating a democratic social media platform. Anyone whom calls for Ximboland to fall under authoritarian rule is guilty of treason and may be exiled.

Pink House/Flexible Laws around Government structure

There are none. Our structure and mission is set in stone in the constitution

Laws on Freedom of Speech and expression

Laws around freedom of speech and expression emanate from both fixed Presidential laws and flexible (Pink House) legislation.

Presidential (fixed) laws on Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech is the bedrock of our democracy. It is enshrined into our constitution by our founding Ximbos. Freedom of speech and expression must be defended at all costs lest Ximboland may fall under the autocratic rule of one leader/vision.

The Xemocracy arena will always be a place for Ximbos to speak freely and to criticize those in power.

However freedom of speech does not extend to undermining our democratic mission or undermining the President. Calling for a new system or change of President is akin to treason and citizens will be quickly exiled.

Pink House/Flexible Laws around Freedom of Speech

The Pink House has a lot of power when it comes to freedom of speech. See hateful conduct for more.

Laws on Treason

Presidential (fixed) laws on Treason

Undermining our democratic mission or undermining the President and their office is strictly illegal . The president's office covers all ministers or government workers appointed by the President themselves. Calling for a new system, undermining staff appointed by the President or asking for change of President themself is akin to treason and citizens will be exiled.

Challenging the views of elected government workers is prohibited and encouraged.

Examples

‘As long as Chris is here Ximboland is fooked’ - ILLEGAL because this statement does not respect the political system. Chris is the founder and President and can not be removed.

‘As long as XX (the minister of Justice) is here this site is ruined - he/she should be removed now or else i will leave’ this statement is ILLEGAL because it does not respect our political system and the fact that Minister of Justice has been appointed by the President and can't be removed by xitixens.

‘I dont like XXXX (insert Minister name) I can do a better job’ this comment is LEGAL because it respects our current political system

‘We should get XXXX (insert minister name) removed from office because they are an idiot a liar and a cheat’ is LEGAL because it respects our political system

‘I hate this site with its make believe fantasy and stupid nonsense’ is ILLEGAL because this comment does not respect our political system ie we are real and we are doing our best.

‘I don't see how this can place be a democracy if it was started by Chris/such and such was appointed by Chris’ etc is ILLEGAL because we are a hybrid democracy and there is nothing we can do about that. Someone had to start Ximboland and it was Chris so undermining this fact is in itself treason

Pink House/Flexible Laws on Treason

Ximboland is a relatively young democracy and as such is vulnerable to attack from within. Words that undermine our democracy are seen by some governments as causing instability and conflict. Some governments may feel the need to clamp down on this behaviour whilst others err on th side of supporting the freedom of speech to criticize and analyse every aspect of Ximboland including our leaders - with the exception of the President and his office/government workers.

If you can't criticize your leaders at all....then you do not have freedom of speech. By definition, that is not freedom of speech.

Not a single nation with freedom of speech has banned criticizing elected officials' choices, views, or governance. Where did you get that idea from? Is it because you'd rather ban anyone who disagrees with you, instead of listening to your players like a democratic leader should?

It's insane to institute undemocratic policies....then jail anyone who says "hey this doesn't seem very democratic". Democracy requires the ability to criticize leaders & hold them accountable. Or it is not a democracy.

You can criticise. Of course you can. Within teh context of our current political set up.
But calling for my removal or someone I have appointed to be removed is not acceptable.
saying Ximboland is not a democracy is not acceptable because thats undermines us and is not healthy for ,e or ivernment workers and its not nice for new Ximbos to see open treason and rebellion.

Treason Felony Act 1848: This act makes it a crime to advocate for the abolition of the monarchy.Check out the above. Its illegal to call for the abolition of the monarchy in UK. Just like its illegal here to call for abolition of the Presidency.

Every nation has laws against treason - and we are no different.

If you don't like our me, Ximboland or our mission and democracy then fine but keep those opinions to yourself or expect to be jailed/exiled and let the rest of us get on with building Ximboland in peace please
