Thank you for reducing prices :) It was a nice surprise! I've only been around on this site for few months, so I'm not familiar with its history. Others have posted great points about the imbalance between costs and wage, and I agree that it's quite ridiculous from the player's perspective. But the developers of the site need to make money somehow. I'm guessing this comes mainly from player purchases and ad revenue. I don't have the data, but perhaps there's a more optimal combination of prices of goods v.s. B$ that bimbos can earn? I'm guessing that generally, high prices discourage players. Though some may resort to buying B$, I'm guessing that most become less engaged and leave. Lowering prices as the players have proposed could potentially raise engagement and site traffic, therefore revenue. I would be interested in playing with this data. It would be cool to find a good balance point that give both parties more benefit.

As a relative newcomer to BimboLand and having experienced other online activities, it seems that most of them are about the money rather than the players/inhabitants of the world. Looking at the shop prices it seems to me that the only way to get several outfits (1 for each occasion/mood) would be to spend a reasonable amount of ones real money. I don't mind a reasonable expense, which is why I've allowed myself to purchase a few B$ to buy a couple of outfits, but after that money is spent I will have to discipline myself to no spending...and that's a real shame because I just love shopping. As a previous bimbo pointed out, it would take a seriously long time to earn enough B$ to buy a semi-reasonable outfit, by which time players will become feed-up and leave. If I had known about the high outfit costs prior to becoming a bimo I would probably not have bothered, but I have to say that the I have received such a lovely welcome and so remained. I will probably stay while the friendly contact continues as the friendship and banter is the most important aspect, for me.

Looking at it with pure maths in mind.

If you started a new bimbo today you are automatically given 1000 B bucks from the start, which is awesome, but there aren't many things you can do with 1000 B bucks.

Now, if you were to swallow back those urges to shop and completely ignore spending a cent in the shops with that seed money, and instead run around the gym, beauty salon, arcade, and casino absolutely naked until you can get a job good enough to pay out a decent 15 B bucks an hour, then you're looking at roughly two weeks of drafty workouts and odd (though appreciative) looks from the locals.

During that time you're keeping it breezy you're not going to get noticed in the fashion fighting arena, so you're praying that people are consistently selecting you for the debates, noticing you on the all but silent forum, as well as the... 3 B bucks you get from liking other people's avatars (max 10 per day!) in order to advance in bimbo levels. Yay levelling! You get something like 250 B bucks per level, so say you miraculously get to level 7 in your two weeks of grinding those stats, then that gives you your starting 1000 and roughly 1750 to 2750 from leveling and the sometimes kindly casino chances. So you're looking at about 2750-3750 B bucks.

But you were also playing those minigames, hurray! It's extremely unlikely that you could get each matching game in 25 tries or less each time, but say you're pretty good and always always always get it between 25 and 45 giving you a whopping 10 B bucks each try for a maximum of 3 tries for two games... per day. 60 B bucks each day for those two nude and grindy weeks yields an astounding 840 B bucks which, when added to the best-case scenario from the casino/leveling gives you 4590 B bucks.

At 4590 B bucks you MIGHT just have the amount of money hoarded away to buy one lower-end but cohesive outfit that isn't rubber-stamped classic newbie gear, but then you are locked into one look until you can work your way up to another... say 5000 B bucks. Heaven help you if you get a glitched item too, because the sell back price is 10% of the original price of the item. Also by in large the average price per item is roughly 1000 B bucks, so, you know, good luck.

How long will that take to get to outfit two, then? At 15 B bucks an hour working a maximum of 8 hours per day to avoid the <20% self indulgence issue, you're looking at a maximum of 120 B bucks per day. This means it would take something like 42 days or 6 weeks to get to that ideal 5000 B bucks mark from working alone. At least you're not naked, so that's nice.

Whew, that's a long time. You're bound to play a few minigames and get at least a little forum love in 6 weeks, so let's be real and say that you level up, in fact, let's be optimistic and say that you go from level 7 to level 14 while working to cut down the time it takes to get to 5000 B bucks, how long will it take? Again 250 B bucks per level for 7 levels grants you 1750 B bucks, and 60 B bucks per day from minigames means you're looking at 18 days or just under 3 weeks in the same set of dirty clothes. Hurray!

So the questions you have to ask are:
Can you make a decent complete outfit for under 4590?
Can you stand not having any clothes at all for two weeks?
Can you make two decent outfits under 9390?
Can you stand waiting a month for it?

This site could definitely benefit newcomers with a trade or gifting feature. Getting some/more B bucks for forum posts would help too. These together would also probably boost the forum games activity quite a bit as folks could offer/win prizes for participation. Also more established players could donate items to new players to help them get to outfit two because let's face it... who here didn't immediately buy a set of clothes with that seed money as soon as you landed in Bimboland?

Also, yeah, the prices in the shops could be lowered.

Idk if it's just me and what I like, but I find the majority of my outfits ended up costing around 6-7k B on average :/. What I'm trying to say is that it'd be extremely hard to farm 6k B right out. You need to be constantly grinding on the site, and the majority of people hate grinding excessively only to end up not getting very far (and therefore becoming discouraged and move elsewhere).

I think the mods teased at a daily challenge quest that can possibly earn you more $B. So that is something to look forward to. Jobs earn so poorly and could be improved upon. Also with the minigames, it is nearly impossible to win the first prize unless you are lucky lol.

I'm still not going to spend my money on this game. Even though the prices have gone down as it's been pointed out, it's still ridiculous as to how much it all costs.
