For me Onision used to be that guy who makes funny sketch videos with characters when I was in middle school. I was never a fan but I do remember watching him around the same time Shane Dawson was doing his own character sketches. Now obviously he's this nasty person, and I hope justice will be served somehow for all the pain him and Kai have caused. I don't want to see any content about Onision anymore, and I wish people would stop. Like you've mentioned he just benefits from the publicity. I also kind of feel iffy for his kid/s??? The two of them have at least one right? Hopefully everyone will not bring them into all of this.

maybe i will get disliked for this but i disagree with everyone who says talking about onision is giving him publicity and is therefore bad. yes it is giving him publicity, but the absolute worst kind. he has profited off of it, sure, but only the most insignificant amount considering how much other people make off of his name. he's licking the kitchen faucet for water drops after hansen, repzion, and fpsdiesel come by to fill up their glasses
is onision, as a subject, a dead horse beaten to all hell? yes, most definitely. i like following online drama and even i'm getting bored with it. but i dont think it should stop.. until onision is in jail. all this attention is hurting onision. it doesnt always work that way, but in this case "any publicity" is not good publicity. its bad publicity and everyone hates him and the more attention he gets the more likely it is that he actually goes to jail. like i said in my first comment, ive been following onision's "drama" for years, starting when he was collecting images of girls in threads on his forums to rate for videos - most of these girls were underage and very barely dressed so he was essentially hosting and distributing CP through the forums and youtube. he's had to delete and remake his forum several times. there were people accusing him of abuse even back then. but it's snowballed in popularity of late and gotten the attention of big names like chris hansen because it is a cash cow. sorry to say but that's how the internet works, hansen is doing the lords work but he's gotta pay his bills too and onision gets clicks. even hansen is mindful of what he says in his videos so as to appease youtubes monetization system. but it's because onision is so big and chris hansen is poking into the situation that things are finally starting to happen and the fbi is looking into the matter
onision doxxed his ex as a response to her interview with chris hansen, that's what got his patreon deleted. yes he was able to get some views pouring kombucha on his head afterwards but after those... 2? 3 videos.. he's back to his regular boring sketch shit that no one watches. he's not getting views on those. he really is struggling to make money and the more people beat him down the less he is able to earn. ive been watching it happen with my own eyes over the years. beyond just losing his patreon, his public tantrums and responses to legitimate criticism do lose him fans, and his supporters are being picked off one by one, usually by greg himself.
i have no problem with people like strange aeons making videos about onision where she laughs at his books, or with repzion making updates every other week about gregs latest escapades. as ive mentioned the negative attention is actually dragging him down. a million videos showing the same screenshots of his twitter are fine to me because those views don't translate over to onision's channel to give him money. (honestly i believe its because his content is so bad you cant even hate watch it. people could hate watch jake paul, but onision is actually insufferable, screechy, and he reuploads old videos constantly. so.. )
paying for his patreon to collect that content, though... that's a grey area for me. he has been exposed for doing some horrible shit behind his patreon paywall, but i dont think it's worth it for every nobody youtube channel to give him $5 so they can multiply that by 100x in their youtube check. don't think thats a conductive system, but it also is less of a problem now that he is banned from patreon. also cps needs to investigate him. he's been caught screaming at the kids in the background audio of kai's videos and clearly neither of them are fit parents since theyre both pedophiles so.. hopefully that gets looked into soon. i hate to advocate for children being taken from their parents but.. this is a very extreme situation. anyways ive gone on way too long. i just have a lot of opinions about the onion man lmao. he's been abusing people for years and years, it's only hurting him now through because of the mass public outrage. anyways end essay click send

Ugh, I hate him so much. I never was a fan and I don't see why anyone would be in the first place. All I knew about him previously that he was a super annoying asshole with an obsession with Eugenia Cooney and Shane Dawson and that really rubbed me the wrong way. Now that I know he's an even worst piece of shit than I thought (and I didn't know that was possible), I honestly hope he gets whats coming to him and justice is served.
