I've only seen stuff reposted on other social media.

I think it's negatively affecting peoples' attention spans. There's "brevity is the soul of wit" and then there's these filtered blurts of noise and motion in contrast. It's not good.

Heck, there are pathetic dudes apparently looping gifs of TikTock girls who wear tank tops without bras jumping up and down just for masturbatory purposes. The amount of effort for such low payoff is puzzling to me.

Not my cup of tea. I'm sure there are some excellent content creators, but stuff like those viral trends that make every song sound the same by changing the pitch of the voice, changing the tempo and adding a beat drop, life hacks that are mostly either just common sense or quirky attempts at doing something different, but actually just make simple things in life more tedious and time-consuming and the low effort thirst traps just put me off.

The short video length also doesn't help. Youtube has been getting worse and worse, but at least there are no limits on the video length so there is some good content that could never be crammed into just 3 minutes.

I think tiktok can get p harmful just like bc of some of the trends, and specific users, and also just how unbalanced the system is, but I do still really like it!! A lot of my favorite artist are on there and it's really easy to lose track of time once you've got ur fyp settled.

impossible to post a pet video with out so called "experts" coming in and telling you youre "abusing" them. also minors love to police adults around in adult topics when the adults have given very clear 18+ only warnings. theres a lot of shit wrong with it like blatant hate and racism and them taking down very innocent videos yet leaving awful ones up but theres a lot more good than there is bad and its a great time waster

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
