i think plastic surgery is super cool! it's a way to feel good about oneself and can be very beneficial to those who have insecurities that really affect their self- confidence. while i think it is amazing, however, people who have had procedures done need to be open about it, as claiming to have natural features that are actually a result of surgery create insecurities and unrealistic expectations for those who see them.

i personally wouldnt get plastic surgery unless its for medical reasons but i think plastic surgery is such a cool thing like its so crazy how you can fr change how you look and i totally support anyone that wants to get anything done, i just rlly dont like when someone gets something done and says its natural like theres nothing wrong w plastic surgery at all!! there shouldnt be a stigma around it and people shouldnt feel the need to say that its natural when they get work done

Personally, I wouldn't do it. But damn do some people rock it well. Facial-surgery is debatable, it tends to not look good in a person's later years, especially not Madonna.
I think it reallllyyyy depends. I totally understand the use of plastic surgery and if it makes someone happy, ROCK YOUR SHIT!! However, I feel like some people feel pushed to get enhancements done and the best example that comes to mind are young adults on TikTok. Like the new wave of celebs. I only say that because it feels like big enhancements are super LA, OBVIOUSLY NOT IN EVERYONES CASE and it doesnt come down to only LA, but for a big part I feel like its only been super recently people are embracing their natural looks and god gifted features. I'd appreciate it if celebs were more open about the surgeries they've done simply because they are the face of many companies/brands/their own brands/etc and a lot of people can develop strong insecurities because they don't look like these people with prominent jawlines, plump lips, a lifted face, big boobs, tiny waist, fat ass. I know celebs aren't single handedly responsible for how others feel but it sure would have saved me in highschool to know what I know now.

personally i would like to get something done but i dont believe its an INHERENTLY feminist choice as a lot of people do it to fit beauty standards whether they realize it or not. imo celebs should be open about what theyve had done especially ppl like the kardashians who literally set beauty standards, also we need to abolish instagram face and ppl w naturally hooked/big noses demolishing them for the ski slope...always try to embrace your natural features first!
