okay so this is going to be long because i have a very strong opinion about this, so i apologize in advance.
i am pro choice. i won't go into arguments that support it because i could go on for days, and other bimbos have already pointed them out.
i just want to clarify that i don't have anything against people who view abortion as immoral. i can understand them. so they just won't get an abortion, simple as that.
the problem is when people try to make abortion illegal. now i can't describe to you how much these people piss me off. i know this situation differs in every country, so i am going to talk about what's going on in my own.
first of all, abortion is legal here. you have to pay for it, but it's not that much. now, most of the people here are catholics, but it's just formality for them. but there is a huge number of hardcore ones, which is why church is very influential in my country (and yeah it sucks).
now these hardcore ones make protests once a year to make abortion illegal. now i don't see them as evil or stupid or anything like that. i get that they see abortion as murder of children (which i disagree with) and they are doing what they can to stop it. (also, i forgot to mention that not everyone is pro life because of religious reasons, but here i would say 99% are. )
but the biggest problem is, they won't listen to arguments. as i've said before, you could go on for days listing the pro choice arguments. and the only argument that pro lifers have is: it's murder. i really think that these people are brainwashed. and when i see them talking about it so passionately, thinking that they are doing god's work, it makes my blood boil. i don't think they will actually accomplish anything, but i just can't stand their stubbornness. women's right to have abortion is very important to me, so seeing someone go against it makes me so angry. sorry if this sounds agressive, i really tried not to make it that way.
i again really do apologize for the lenght of this, but i just hate how there's still a debate about this. i know there are places where abortion is illegal and it makes me so sad that women don't have a choice over their bodies.

pro-choice. i just can't imagine a child being born into a family that doesn't even want the child as the better option ? like that kid will grow up and be traumatized for the rest of their life.

pro choice, sometimes its a child that needs to make that choice either by a simple mistake or horrific circumstances so its not fair to force them have that child when theyre a child, sometimes people arent ready for a child meaning that child would have to grow up under again horrific circumstances even if theyre not put into an orphanage. its not fair on anyone in any of those situations.
pro choice obvi :0) a woman needs to be able to be in control of her own body at all times. it completely inhumane for others to sit and tell anyone what they cannot do with their own body. there are enough children in the foster care system/up for adoption who are suffering and not finding homes, let's focus on them. regardless of what someone's reason to get an abortion is, they should have safe access.
