My new co-worker & I went out to dinner. I think we left the waitress a 40% tip b/c we both just left cash. She probably deserves it b/c she seemed really busy but was still able to check on us multiple times during the 2 hours we were there chatting.

Hello everyone, Nice to see some new faces and always nice to see the regulars. It's a beautifully sunny day here in my home town, it's warm and with gentle breeze it's quite the perfect day! well with one exception the I have another shift to do at work. We have a shortfall in staffing so, we, "the good girls" are filling in. I have a new pal at work too. A lovely Man that really is as socially awkward as me, go figure, there really is someone else out there like me. He has only been with us two weeks but already he is one of "the good girls" I guess we will have to rename ourself now.
So i've been voting in the Rainbow Power PBFC (my suggestion no less, blushing with modesty) I have to say I am absolutely blown away by the talent on display! I thought I might be in with a chance of being in at least the top 100, now though I fear I will be nowhere close. Another chance at a trophy sipping by.....I really don't mind, I'm just so pleased that so many people are taking part and creating such lovely outfits.

Sunshine and happiness, they usually go hand in hand. Until that is you get attacked by little flying bugs... I feel for you all. Where I live we are fortunate enough not to suffer from much bug attack. I have a garden with a little pond where fish live alongside frogs and newts. In the early evening the air above the pond is a mass of tiny midge type flying bugs, they stay where they are mainly but I never venture into the area in flying time, just in case of attack.
It's a real drag too that you can't wear something light and summery if your dress code doesn't include it. I have some lovely light weight trousers made from Ice Silk I would love to be able to wear these at work but No we have to wear our tough as nails no nonsense uniform pants...
