y'all I just finished reading a Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (the newest hunger games book) and my GOD. it was so good. I haven't really read a book for fun since high school but I finished this one in three days. Now I want to re-read the hunger games series lol
Gosh, I couldn't live without having a book on the go. I have a downstairs book and an upstairs book on the go. One just for bedtime and the other for those moments in the day I have time to escape into the pages. I've not read any of the Hunger Games books, I have to say I tried watching the first film and it didn't really fit right with me. Are the book vastly different? this is often the case with adaptations of books into film and TV.
Now then, it's Friday so most of you will be heading into the weekend of leisure and fun. I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend.
Looking out at the garden the past couple of days as I sit and have my morning Coffee i've noted an increase in Bird activity, most of the little birds that disappeared from the garden over the past few months have suddenly all reappeared. I've got a Robin that keeps landing on the window frame looking into the room at me, a Blue Tit, a couple of Black Birds and some tiny little birds that have back caps on their heads along with the regular Wren that like to hop about from branch to branch on his daily search for food.
So how many of you noticed the little spelling mistake in my Electric bus post? It made me laugh when I read it... Quick writing and not proof reading is my downfall, along with looking in the bakery window and seeing all those delicious looking cakes, but that's a story for another day.

Taking my rabbit to the vet today for a check up. First appointment since she got put on palliative care. She's gained weight and is doing better so hoping to fine tune our long term plan. It should go okay! <3
Love my rabbits more than anything, hoping this appointment helps us settle into the new normal with her. Not sure how long she has left with us but I'm cherishing our time. She's started grooming my hands to say hello for the first time in the four years we've had her and it's so special to be there for her <3 she's perfect
