I looked at my Calendar yesterday wand was surprised how far away easter is away still... Hum I'm getting plush bunny out for a sit in my window and decorating around it with some foil covered eggs.

WOW! 100 ?! a lot. In my home, painted eggs are only used as decorations, they are not eaten. We prepare boiled ham, vegetable salad and a special white sausage. And of course we eat a lot of eggs.
The hare brings gifts to the children, but you need to build a nest for him first, so that he has a place to leave it. It is not in the habit of looking for eggs. Keks in Poland is a kind of cake with dried fruits and nuts, but for Easter we eat a different cake - mazurek. We do not do a barbecue - this is reserved for the beginning of May, when it gets warm in Poland and most of the people are off during national holidays.
I know that there is still a lot of time until Easter , but I go to the mountains for Christmas. In just 2 weeks and that's why I think about them now :)

Anastazja I love Easter ^_^. The main hero are the eggs ofcourse. We usually color like 100 of them. I know it sounds a lot but we are big family and they usually are all eaten by the end of Easter. Since the weather is nice around Easter we are firing up grill and roasting 'šašļiks' (it's marinated meet cut in cubes). Then some green salad and something sweet like 'kēkss' (a huge muffin). And for most part that's it.
The fun part are all the traditions like swinging in swings so that mosquitoes don't bite all summer long, first egg needs to be eaten with salt otherwise the person will lie all year long :D etc. My kids love this just as much as looking the eggs at the morning in their PJ and coats.

I really wanted to post a pic of mine, but my boyfriend said that one of our cats looks like a sort of worm in man in black (annelids??), the other one looks like an alien and the third looks like a barrel.

Sadly in my house half of us are lactose intolerant so we dont really celebrate easter with lots of chocolate but its still fun watching my brother try find the eggs

My younger brother and I only stopped egg hunts in our adulthood. We're an oddly competitive family.
