This is the official announcement for all of us that the new State Minister elections are coming! Due to some unforeseen changes, elections will be now on June 15th. Please read all the information below and a huge thanks to our ex-PB bxdcherri for letting me use her material regarding this <3. Being SM is very fun and I encourage everyone that wants to be part of the site to run for the position!

What is a State Minister?
A State Minister means you become the figurehead of your state. It’s an honorary title with some responsibilities alongside, but is also a very fun and engaging role.
How do I run for State Minister?
Go to your profile and under the government section you need to tick the box and write a manifesto. Remember that a manifesto is key to getting people to vote for you, so make it a good one! The manifesto is usually up 2 weeks before elections. You can change your manifesto as many times as you like, up until 6 hours before the election day. During this 6 hour period, no one can enter elections or cancel their entry, so make sure you are fully prepared before this happens!
Do I qualify to run as a State Minister?
To run for State Minister you need to be a paying senator, this means no artifacts. You will need to keep up your senatorship for the entire duration of your term, which is 3 months. If your senatorship gets cancelled, you will have 7 days to renew it until your title is removed.
What is expected of me as a State Minister?
Currently what is expected of a State Minister is for them to keep their State engaged in their town hall, and by extension, the site. Your citizens will often ask you questions before taking them higher up the Pink House, so you are essentially the first place people go to for help. A lot of State Ministers like to create contests to keep their state engaged. The current expectation surrounding this is hosting 1 or 2 a month, any more can get overwhelming. Keep in mind that PXFC is also happening each month, and other state ministers will be hosting contests as well, so try to coordinate when you post yours. Important!: State Ministers pay their own diamonds for prizes, meaning you may end up spending real life money on diamond top ups. State ministers are also expected to be highly active on the site, and are expected to work well within the PH team. You will be working alongside other State Ministers, the Prime Bimbo, Fashion Police, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Justice and more.
What tools do I gain as a State Minister?
1) You will gain the ability to jail people from your state for 1 day or 3 days. 2) You can make pop up posts in your town halls. 3) You will receive reports for player profiles only. 4) You will get the gifting tool - meaning you can gift any currency or prize on the site at the expense of your own diamonds.
What do I get out of being a State Minister?
Being an SM means you become somewhat of a club manager. This position is designed for players who want to give back to the community and help to keep the site running smoothly. You will have access to some moderation tools to help FP/PB keep the site safe and organised and are given the opportunity to help improve the site. This position is specifically for those who are enthusiastic in helping others and making the site a fun place to be a part of, whilst having fun themselves, who are chatty and who are imaginative. Finally, as an SM you are given the opportunity to climb the ranks even higher and become Prime Bimbo.

I encourage everyone who would like to run to write your manifesto’s ASAP and post them in the Xemocracy Arena so players can ask you questions! Alternatively you can post them below here as well and in your town halls, if you’d like to get as much reach as possible.
Myself and the State Ministers will be here to answer any questions you may have about the role and our DMs are open for anyone who needs help setting their manifesto up, understanding the responsibilities a bit more, etc.
Much love,
