What kinda jobs does everyone here have? Does it come with any fun benefits? How did you get it and do you have any tips for people looking for a job? Right now I have a housekeeping job at a fancy hotel that is also a wedding location! I got it simply because I applied to a bunch of jobs and this one was the first to call me back, the benefits are a bunch of discount coupons on staying the night and wellness trips and access to a shopping website for employees to enjoy a whole bunch of discounts for all kinds of stuff

I'm an Italian, geography and history teacher!
There isn't any benefit, except for the relationship with the pupils: our job is not only teaching things, but also listen to adolescents' problem, help them, also laugh with them when it's possible :D
I always say it's very stressful, but I don't think I could change it for any other job <3

I’m a team lead - I do the training, I fill in the blanks for management and co-workers. Nothing fun comes with the job. But I feel like I’ve learned a lot in 3 years and to be promoted ahead of senior members is kinda cool.
I do my best to help everyone and stay on top of industry changes. Learn new things as I go to be better at my job. When looking for work - don’t be too picky. You don’t know if that greeter job might lead to store manager…just a thought.

I work at a pie and doughnut shop, I just work front of house so taking peoples orders and serving stuff that doesn't need to be made by the kitchen, I can have 1 free doughnut and if i get anything else the employee discount is 50% so its pretty good perks for the job. It's been pretty quiet lately because of covid and not many people going out so i havent been working that often but i still enjoy it when i do.

I actually just quit my job but I was in retail working with a really unprofessional team. Was lied to about my salary & my co-workers were oddly cliquey. It was basically minimum wage too and I knew it wasn't going to get any better.

i currently work in sales/retail for a tech company. i get pretty good perks like discounts off some of my utilities and we sometimes get commission if we reach good sales targets (i.e. extra moneyyyy). the people i work with are nice but overall it's definitely just a means for me to pay bills and whatnot, definitely don't see myself working there long-term but haven't found another job just yet. hopefully that changes soon though!
what, like it's hard?
i have 3 jobs atm, one as a substitute teacher at a school for kids w special needs, then im a caretaker for a girl w special needs and i just landed a job as a fitness coach for a fitness team for u guessed it, adults w special needs<333 i study physiotherapy and want to work with special needs kids when i'm done, so all my jobs are my truetruetrue passion and im so grateful for the opportunities ive gotten<333
on wednesdays, thursdays, fridays, saturdays, sundays, mondays and tuesdays, we wear pink x <3
I'm currently looking for another job but at the moment I'm a receptionist at a nail salon! Honestly it kind of sucks and I don't really get any benefits but I've been doing this for 5 years now so it's easy to do and just go with the flow.
