came back to add the further thought that I don't really have an issue with it so much as I think there being a total lack of "this photo contains nudity" announcement blur on anything and just blindly scrolling onto peoples profiles is kinda an inconsiderate mess, you didn't outright consent to seeing someones HOLES just because you wanted to do something standard like read a bio. likeee... Real talk - Personally no, while we’re all ( supposed to be ) adults, I would rather not. It serves no purpose whatsoever, and you cross the line of dangerous territory of what certain things may be posted, and how quickly things can be removed.
As it stands, there is no duty of care rn for minors on this site - there have been numerous underaged users found on this site, and yes this is an adult site, but there is no consistent admin moderation for this at all. Now if you have a minor who happens to lie about this regardless { let’s not pretend we haven’t lol }, then we can’t do anything; BUT it’s the fact that there are, who even say in their own bios, with nothing being a done about it - which makes this a distasteful idea ( imo ) - at least for now. Until the admin team or SAN can provide an actual moderation system or have steps in place to actively make it a safe space for EVERYONE, for any form of real life nudity.
Let’s also not forget that just because we’re adults, doesn’t mean we want to see it. Some might want to, some might not care, and others just downright don’t want to. I hope you brought this up with SAN btw, bc if you were even questioning on even allowing anything like this, he should be notified and consulted before ever bringing this publicly.
