Related to scrapegrace's point, I don't get why people are so fixated on proving that being gay isn't a choice. So what if it is? Why would being gay not being a choice make it more acceptable than if it was a choice? And where does this leave bisexuals who can be happy in man×woman relationships but chose to be in same-day ones?

I hate the obsession with pronouns. And I don't mean I hate "special snowflakes" who want me to respect and use their pronouns. Quite the opposite, seeing as I am one of those special snowflakes...
But language-wise? Can we please all just start using genderless language, I hate that when I speak English I have to assign gender to the people I talk about. Like I don't need gender to talk about people in my native language so it gets extra annoying to me just because of that already. But also, gender is such unnecessary information about a person a lot of the time and I'm so tired of society's obsession with it, I'd love some reprieve at least in the language I use most...
