Hey all,

Just wanted to throw some very unwanted suggestions for Contests into the ether, since it's been a bit quiet out here in the contest-sphere. I couldn't find any contest suggestion topic, if there is one just point me there because I think i have good ideas for contests but am very lazy with hosting and you probably won't get your banners till next year, believe me. However I have some Ideas for anyone to steal, just to get the ball rolling.

Bad Omens contest: I just finished the show on Amazon and I am obsessed, just basically a demon vs angel contest
Colors contest: Best monochrome outfits
Music contest: pick a genre and dress like it
Lingerie contest: self explanatory
Talent contest: pick a talent and dress like it
Summer Beach contest: its cliche but still a classic
BDSM contest: would finally like to use all whips and ropes in the shop
City pop contest: listen to "Plastic Love" on youtube 
Ballroom dancing contest: self explanatory
90s tv shows: I call dibs on Buffy
High heels galore: self explanatory
Mean girls contest: Wear Pink on wednesdays, come on!
Avant Garde contest: wear the most high fashion out of the box look
The Adam's Familiy Contest: dress like a member of the adam's family
Dress like your occupation IRL: self explanatory
Dress like you survived an apocalypse contest: lol
The Office contest: dress like the show or make it literally just office attire
Dress on a budget: everyone can join this one dress under 100 bd
Flowers contest: Dress like a flower you find on google
Different skin contest: let's utilize the underused skins in the shop and make it work
Favorite wig contest: I know everyone has one
Futurism the contest: dress like the future
That 70s show contest: Ya'll used to watch that show?
Rock Band the contest: create a rock band with other bimbos or himbos and coordinate outfits, any OG bimbos remember those type of contests!
Harry Potter contest: We got the outfits why not use them
Doctor who contest: great show! may be bit of a challenge
Movie of the week/month: kind of like a movie club in which we all watch a movie then dress it up for a contest
Book of the week/month: same as above
Battle of the states: all the bimbo.land states have a battle royale wearing your state's colors; aka war attire with a pop of color
Clowns contest: just for a quick scare
Mime contest: for an even bigger scare




That's all I can think of at the moment, I guess this can become a suggestion thread, leave your best suggestions below, hopefully someone with a heart of gold will make them come true. Plz, I'm so bored, just any contest, please......

A lot of good ideas for contests, though I don't enjoy overly specific contests. There might not be enough BDSM stuff, mime/clown stuff, etc. And not everybody might like Doctor Who or Harry Potter so could be something more like... Witches, where some may be Harry Potter, or sci fi/time travel. Time travel could have futuristic outfits and outfits from historical eras lol. I like ideas of trying to make a good outfit with something cheap or bad you have, or like ugly clothes from chests, yuck.

Fixed the typo, thanks! anyways Yeah, While i was writing i thought Doctor who would have been a little challenging b/c of the lack of pieces, Himbo's might have something but I haven't really seen what's in their shops. And I am also a huge fan of ugly contests as well b/c it gives everyone a chance to participate and we have alooooooooot of piece that no one uses anymore b/c they went of style. For the BDSM we do have leather stuff and alot of lingerie and some whips so I think there could be some good outfits.

I wish that when there is a contest Everyone had to make something new not use a recycled outfit for it where is the creativity in using something you all ready have done.

Here are my suggestions:

1.International flag color-Using just the color of your flag dress your Bimbo

2.Big Fat Greek Wedding theme

3.Best dressed Kitty theme-Everyone has to use the kitty pieces dressing their Bimbo

Well, anyone can host a contest here. I have hosted few, one with Bambi Foxx and its been really nice. I understand why not everyone want to host a contest, for example banners can cause some trouble but here are many talented and helpful bimbos around to ask for help.
Also i personally dont find banners so necessary, even many may want them, but if you cant make them, then you cant and thats it :) you can always ask prime bimbo for prizes so thats enough in my opinion.

I like your ideas guys, some of them have been used already, for example this flag idea, we had a contest to dress for our countries and guidelines told to wear flag colors.

@Crocheting Bimbo, I totally understand what you mean by having a contest where everyone would have to create something new. In Dqfc and forum contests there are every time bimbos with old outfits we have seen already.

I really like contest that theme is a certain time, like 50's, 60's or another. It could also be professions.

Of course you can suggest DQFC ideas! Hosting a fashion contest seems like a lot of work + money lol but I'd like one of your ideas. :)

Anyone can host a contest.  All you really have to do to host a contest is to create a calendar post and create a contest thread. As host you are responsible for creating the rules/guidelines for participation and establishing a time frame that the contest will last through. The Fashion Contest Forum was created so that hosts have one central location where they can create their "at-a-glance" calendar update for the contest and to have this thread where your contest will be hosted. Since not everyone checks the forum on a daily basis you may get better participation for your contest if you make a post including a link to your contest and post that on individual bimbo/himbo "comment section" on their profile. Unfortunately there is not mass email/post option for hosts to announce their contest.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
