Upcoming SM elections

As you are probably aware, April SM elections are getting close. If you are interested in running in this elections there are a couple of things to consider:

1) In order to run, you have to be a paying senator (no artifacts)

2) You have to write a program and click the check box to confirm you are participating

3) Your programs will be visible for the public eyes since 15th this month

4) Of course, you can add or edit your program later as well, but keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes during the last 6 hours prior to elections. It also means you can't apply during that time if you haven't already nor to cancel your participation if you have already applied.

5) If you get elected as SM you will have to be a paying senator during the whole term - 4 months

6) If your senatorship gets canceled for one or another reason, you are losing SM status within 7 days and your state is going to be without SM until the next elections. During these 7 days you can renew your senatorship and continue to be SM.

7) If you are SM you are eligible and moreover, you are expected to participate in PB elections

8) As SM you are also expected to be active and available for both your citizens and other PH members, as well as to do duties that come with the title

Due to some misunderstandings in the past, I would also like to address certain issues or possible questions.

- Being SM doesn't mean you will become FP as well. It may happen during certain circumstances, but it is not a must nor it was meant to be related.

- Being SM doesn't mean you will become SW. Same as above, it may happen but it doesn't go with SM status by default.

- If you are SM you can't be MoJ. Having both roles is impossible by default. It means, MoJ loses MoJ status at the same moment when becomes SM. If you are SM already, you can't be appointed to MoJ. These two roles are designed in a way to annul each other. Same person can be only one of these two.

- However, if you are FP/SW you can participate in SM elections and become one without losing FP/SW tools/status

Tools that goes with SM role:

- As SM you are able to jail citizens in your state for 1 or 3 days

- You receive messages from Bimbo Mailman when citizens from your state get reported

I hope this answers some of the possible questions, but if you have more or other questions related to elections and SM role feel free to ask. This thread is meant for such purposes. It also means you are not expected to post your programs here if you are going to run because there will probably be a separate thread for that made later in each town hall.

This is mostly meant to be a reminder for senators and citizens who intend to run in elections, but also for the rest of the citizens if they have some questions or concerns.
