Aaaand we're back for Week 2, with another contest and sale!
This one's a big one, we may have gone a little overboard...♡ If you missed the first contest/sale or need a refresher about the basic premise, please check the last contest thread here! Whether or not you participated in the last contest, though, please read on! This one's a fun one and we have a huge number of new items which will be on sale until the end of this contest. ♡
I'm just going to copy-paste some of the same rules from last time (with a couple edits), but if you're sure you know what's going on, feel free to skip to the contest explanation!
How This Works:
♥︎ To have a chance at becoming the overall Grand Prize 1st, 2nd, or 3rd winner, you will have to participate in all 3 contests (one has already finished up)! However, we will only award overall prizes if enough people participate. This will be calculated based on your scores from all previous rounds.♥︎ Each contest will be individually prized. That means 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and People's Choice (most likes).
♥︎ The contests will be judged by myself, @Blecky89, @ambercrystals, @Melpomene, and @tibby! We'll rank the outfits individually and then tally things up to determine the winners each week.
♥︎ When we announce the winners for the first 2 contests, we will also release a non-ordered list of the top 50% of scorers (we've already done this for the last contest in the last thread, so go check it out). This will help you know that your scores were high and you should participate in future contests (to have a chance at the grand prize) even if you didn't place in one of them! However, I will say many of the scores were extremely close and the difference between top 50% and bottom 50% was often by one or two points, so please, please continue to join!! You can always win individual contests, too (even if you don't place in the overall triad of contests).
♥︎ Unlike previous Fashion Week contests, your State has no relevance to your score and whether or not you can win.
♥︎ You are allowed to participate in only one or two contests and you will still have a chance to prize in that specific contest!! You just won't be eligible for any overall prizes.

♥︎ Intentionally offensive or discriminatory outfits will be disqualified. We'll decide this between all 5 judges.
♥︎ Rude, belittling, or harmful behavior in the contest thread will get you disqualified, don't do it! Let's be nice, people.
♥︎ This must be a new outfit created for this contest, no reusing old fits!
♥︎ You do NOT have to use the associated sale items in your outfit, but please make sure you follow the rules of that specific contest!

♥︎ Week 2: Vintage Valentine's Day Cards ♥︎
Take inspiration from the style, subjects, decorations, and whimsy of vintage valentine's day cards (see above for some inspiration)! This is a concept where Digitals and other decorations will be key. Elegance and cutesy aesthetics may reign over the titular nipples-out look, sorry my friends (put the 18+ category AWAY this time!), and a potential word of wisdom? You might switch up your background game, try some patterns, some textures, some flat-colored items with decor on top (or stick with a standard photo background if you've got an idea that can make it work). Outfits should strive to balance complicated and ornate details with whimsical simplicity—they'll be printed on a piece of paper, after all!While many cards have text on them, not all do! Text items are not required at all whatsoever, so don't feel pressured—they're there if you want them, though.
