Love the polish with the gold flecks, Remi. Looks so good layered over matte black.

I've never tried yankee candles before. I'm quite overwhelmed by how many different scents they do. Are they good?
SO good - the one I'm using right now smells exactly like freshly baked vanilla cupcakes!
If you love baking scents, check out Anthropologie's 'Illume Boulangerie Jar' range of candles - They do Pumpkin Souffle, Oatmeal Cookie and Angel Food Cake! I can't remember which are available seasonally, but they're so great for making your house smell like a patisserie!

I'm really into candles, but the fragrances I enjoy are almost quite masculine smelling. My favourite candle is Amber and Bergamot. I do really like fresh citrus-y scents too.

They do have some masculine ones too I think the one with stars or something? - Kilimanjaro Stars - it smells like aftershave or cologne to me. They have lemongrass, orange, lemon and also clean cotton or fluffy towels that smell like fresh clean linen out of the dryer! They smell exactly as described which is something I appreciate tbh

I love candles, I'm the kind of person who left alone will dip their hand into the wax xD def looking into Anthropologie, I love sweet smelling things, fruits or sweets or cakes/pastry its all yum!

Ooh, your nails look amazing, Rem! I can't paint my nails to save my life. They usually end up clumpy or chipped, but it's still fun.

I went to Daiso (this Japanese store that sells everything at S$2) recently and got knitting needles and some yarn, I'm now learning how to knit.

Did you just start? My mother tried to teach me, did not work - at all.
I wish I could shop at Daiso, I heard great things about the charcoal mask. The cheapest I found was around $6 on Amazon which isn't expensive but still, it's not $2.

I bought two tubes of Pravana Vivids Locked In Teal today. A reminder that I love my teal hair, but it's such a financial burden to upkeep. D: Ebay typically has them for $7-10 which is great, since amazon has them listed for $10+

How long have you had your hair teal? I had my hair teal once about 2 years ago, but I used Ion Color Brilliance. Pretty much the best semi-permanent I've ever used, but I want to try Pravana in Silver.

I've had teal for about a year now. I actually started with Ion! The color was great, but my hair didn't really approve of it so I had to switch to something else. :( Pravana is pretty great though. It smells a bit like bubble gum when you use it and it doesn't require developer - unless you want to dilute it. It's also lasted almost the entirety of the 3 months I wait between colorings which is great. Not sure about the silver, but the brand is definitely an A+ all around.

It's my Birthday in a few days so I decided to buy myself something functional.
Functional you wonder?  It really is, and I discovered this Years Ago,  This wonderful perfume, is also a more effective misquote repellent that DEET.  Scientifically proven even.  Read about it here.  I noticed the effects once when playing with the kids many years ago, when they were eaten alive wearing a DEET repellent and I didn't have so much as a scratch even though I refused to wear such a disgusting fragrance as a DEET product.  I had wondered why that was the case,  but I thought it was just that they had more young and sweet blood.  How 'dark-ages' of me to think that.  I never once thought it was my favorite parfum, that was protecting me.    I may as well get the $250.00 bottle to keep at home and close to my chest. There are less expensive containers for the liquid mixture to put in a back-pack for a  trip into the wilderness. Bugs hate it and wont bite, but men can smell breasts a mile away and swarm to be the first to land a touch.  "Sorry boys, You can look but this rack is taken."

I was also thinking about this new outbreak of Zica in South America.  A disease carried by Misquotes.  It is Threatening the up coming Olympics. It also only affects pregnant women and unborn babies.  (The babies are born with deformed heads and die soon after birth.)  So I would love to see it handed out to all the women in South America, for free.  It really is a very special perfume, and could change the world one woman and baby at a time.  However the concept of something being naturally produced would upset the BIG DRUG manufactures. Especially if such an inexpensive product is more effective than the chemicals they produce and is actually poisonous in large quantities on humans too. Humanity needs to stop making profit's on Death and Sorrow and do the right thing.
Give the women some perfume.  The container could be just a simple test tube, but it would help so many women be safe and smell like a natural beauty too.
