Ive been playing sims since i was a kid!!! First i had sims 2 pets on my ps2, then i got sims 3 on my DS & Wii and after a couple of years of playing it on my moms computer i started playing it on mine. I do have sims 4 but its kinda shit tbh. It's like 3-4 hours of gameplay (with cas included lol) and the expansions are very small.

i've abandoned sims 4 completely ever since i got my switch and animal crossing... good for my old little macbook though as it could NOT run the game with all of my mods. i loved the sims 4 create-a-sim which is all i ever did in the sims anyway so the gameplay falling flat never bothered me lol.

Sims 2 will forever be my childhood favourite, I could never understand the sims 1 game mechanisms and I didn't like how the outifts were per-made. Also the sims 2 body shop was amazing omg.
I loveddddd sims 3 for the fact that outfit customizations were so open and there was so many possibilities.
Sims 4 is nice as it runs so much better however I wish the world was as open as sims 3, however the expansion packs such as get to work is super fun since I always loved having a bakery, however I loved that you could have the bakery at home in sims 2 ;-;.
Personally nothing will ever beat the sims 2 and all it's expansions.

I've only played Sims 2 and 3, but I'm OBSESSED with Sims 2! I want to try Sims 4 but I really don't want to spend my money on a game that's lacking so many basic features, especially since there's a ridiculous amount of packs for it
