Sorry Chris, can you just give a few examples of what would be different around here if somebody "right wing" were Prime Bimbo. I just don't really see how their political leanings come into implementing what the userbase actually want: more to do on the website and to have fun. I really don't understand what you're trying to achieve here and without evidence of the discontent of the user base, I'm struggling to see the issue? What massive censorship is occurring? I actually think the forum is pretty lenient here.

A pleasant evening.

Chris, if I may, what is the true purpose of wanting these sudden changes?

Is this a preparation to sell Ximboland to a political group for profits and other beneficial reasons?

Please and thank you.

Okay, fine, I might run for Prime Ximbo when elected as State Minister. What's holding people back is that this website is not very political. I mean, we're a fucking internet republic, at baseline we're political. A step in the more political direction would include controversial debate topics. You say you lean towards the right and value freedom of speech in an Elon Muskeque type way, then facilitate conversation/debates surrounding abortion, gay rights, trans rights, immigration, war, corporations. If insinuating the idea of freer speech doesn't scare you, then neither should implementing it.
I've noticed a lot of people come on here to "play a dress up game," + I despise that notion. Take yourself to Everskies or Stardoll or IMVU. You're part of an internet republic, don't take it for granted just because it's yassified and colored pink.
I agree with you = conversation and debate on Ximboland has been stifled. Who remember the Miss Bimbo of 2008 ? It was very interesting and full of debate.

Do you really think the dumpster fire that is xitter is something to be emulated... Most ppl here are left leaning, but don't really want to engage in the political aspects of the game, and it is unlikely that the userbase will diversify and increase in terms of political opinion and zeal, so all this political shoehorning would likely just amount to the creation of an 'undemocratic' echo chamber anyways. It might even end up turning into a toxic purity spiral and drive users away (this is what happened with everskies community).
Yes I do. Freedom of speech is worth defending at all costs. What is liberty without the freedom to speak our minds? Elon Musk is a hero for defending freedom of speech and creating a place that facilitates freedom of speech safe from the over moderation that exists everywhere else on the internet. We must be careful lest we lose our freedom of speech under the guise of 'hate speech'

I just wanna say (and I’m quite scared to admit this) but I would say I lean more towards the right then left. However, that DOES NOT mean I hate LGBTQ, wish death upon anyone who is different, think everything should be “back like it was” etc etc. That is an extreme right view and I just need to say that not every right leaning playing thinks that way. We do exist on the site, we are just quiet about our political views, because we don’t want to cause arguments. Or at least that’s how it is for me. Also please take into account that this site is based in Europe, Miss Bimbo being from the UK. The UK right side is FAR less extreme than the US right side. I’d also like to note that quite frankly I don’t give a fuck about politics because at the end of the day every government is ran by corrupt people forcing their own narrative, which sounds similar to what you yourself are trying to do now. The reason why I’ve never ran for PB is because the current PB is doing a great job already, why try to oppose that? I’d rather just wait until her terms have finished, which is what I’m planning  to do. We have a lovely community here that people don’t want to disrupt the flow of, there’s nothing wrong with that. We have a working democracy here, just because we aren’t fighting doesn’t mean we don’t have freedom of speech. I’d also like to add that I, as an SM, have a job to do. I put work into this site. You don’t pay me for that. In fact, I pay YOU for that. I’ve never heard of a real country doing that. Do the developers and admins of the site have to pay you as well? No. Because they’re recognised as employees. We should also be valued. Then maybe we’d be more interested in running the site for you. At the end of day, if FP, shop designers, PB, and SM, all the volunteers of this site got removed, who would you be left with? Do you still think you would have players? It’s not about being “the wrong kind of selfish”. It’s about paying rent and not being exploited
Its sad that you are afraid to admit you are right leaning. Thats a sad endorsement of Ximboland - clearly no one represents you which is wrong.
Dont get me wrong I am grateful; to teh current and previous PBs. It is not their fault we have developed into a left leaning predictable semi dictatorship. That has happened over the years here and is no one fault.
But address it we must and so lets get on and create a better democracy for teh Ximbos of tomorrow and our Ximbos Ximbos. Ximboland will be around long after we have all died

Chris can you please give some examples of the kinds of things you think are being censored here? The main focus on the forums is primarily on fashion and the various aspects of gameplay. I am failing to see where all these viewpoints are meant to fit in because they're really not integral to the actual gameplay. As a user, I'm more interested in stuff like improved mobile functionality rather than whether I'm free or not to drop a bunch of slurs. I really don't understand how any of this interfaces with the actual gameplay.

1. Why don't you make PB elections open to all senators again like it used to be instead of just SMs?
2. New rules right? Why don't you post the new rules of the site so we can see them. Shouldn't the current FP put them into effect?
3. Which banned players are you supposed to be bringing back?
4. "I have received emails and messages from Ximbos airing their dissatisfaction with not being allowed to voice their opinions for fear of being banned" This is bullshit people don't just get banned for this.
Also Fashion Police let people speak out and have opinions and beliefs. As long as they are not insulting, atttacking others, etc forums post won't get edited or deleted in these cases. Its just not how it works.
6. PB and SMs have to pay for senatorship and on top of that have to pay for prizes for when they host contest so when you add it all up it's not that cheap in the long run.
7. People don't wont to run against the present and past few PBs because they have done such a great job in the role. Plus on top of that we can see how much work they have to put into it. Its not a simple log in and log out.

So Chris, you say the PH has been silencing and banning people from speaking their voice? Which is not really true, we still got a few, 2 of them to be more specific, who ruin the game and bully people on sight, but we can't get rid of them. No one has freedom of speech around them.
Why is that? Since you say PB banns people that easily.

This is not to do with gameplay. We are as much a community as we are a game. This is everything to do with the community and how to manage it - keeping it healthy but keeping the place interesting, invigorating, intelligent and fun

Things being censored =

1) Any opposition to the policies of the current PB
2) Anything 'right leaning' eg opposition to the current Ximboland orthodoxies on lots of subjects eg religion, abortion, gay rights
