A volkhv or volhv (Cyrillic: Волхв; Polish: Wołchw, translatable as wiseman, wizard, sorcerer, magus, i.e. shaman, gothi or mage) is a priest in ancient Slavic religions and contemporary Slavic Native Faith.In contemporary Slavic Native Faith, the volkhvs are those responsible for holding rites for worshipping the gods and leading communities and religious festivals. Volkhvs are the higher rank of the sacerdotal hierarchy, the lesser order being that of the zhrets.[2] The latter are not necessarily shamans, and their function is merely to hold sacrifices (the word zhrets literally means "sacrificer", from Proto-Slavic *žьrti, and is cognate of Slavic words for "offering").[3] Though the majority of priests are males, most groups do not exclude women from the priesthood, so that a parallel female priesthood is constituted by the two ranks of zhritsa and vedunya ("seeress"). Prestige is not limited to male priests; a priestess, Halyna Lozko from Ukraine, is an acknowledged authority within the Slavic Native Faith movement.[4]

There once was a man working late on the rail roads, the train wasn't supposed to run that faithful night when the man accidentally lost his balance and fell bc of the sounds from the train that was coming towards him his was stretched across the rail road as the train passed it cut his arm off...weeks later he got a big insurance check and went home and told his wife, his wife got so excited cause now he would finally be able to retire ''Oh how wonderfull honey! now we get can finally travle and we buy that beach house, oh and we finally get new furniture and now that i think about it i'm gonna need a whole new ward drobe''she said but he shook his head ''no, im gonna buy myself one fine gold arm with these money honey.''he said and as he said he got his gold arm years later he got sick and wrote in his will that he would want his gold arm to be buried with him and when he died he got buried with it. But his wife was NOT happy she was furious she had always looked forward to go around the world and travel but now she couldn't so she got herself the idea to dig her husband up and steal the gold arm so she can pawn it and get money for it, so that very night she went to the graveyard dug her husband up and took the gold arm and buried him back down again, the next the day she went to the nearest pawn shop and pawned it and the next few days she living her best life she was buy herself completley new clothes but after a few days...
She was laying in bed when she sudden heard the front door opening and closing she was to scared to move and then she heard the footsteps and a voice began ''WHO STOLE MY GOLDEN ARM!'' it repeated over and over with the voice getting louder and louder the wife sat up in the bed looked over at her door AND THERE HER HUSBAND STOOD WITHOUT AN ARM ''IT WAS YOU !!!!'' he screamed at her
