Typical mid summer parties include fireworks, poolside parties, and fresh seasonal fruits, but not tonight. When the sun hits the horizon and its ever present heat finally gives way to the cool of the night, that is when the real party will begin: Summerween!
If you find yourself tired of the same summer routine, longing for those October days, or just want to dress up and get drunk in July, then this party is for you! Summerween is an event that takes the spirit of Halloween and delivers it early, encouraging participants to don their costumes, collect candy, and carve jack-o-melons.
How will you celebrate this seasonal holiday? Do you dress up in the costume you saved from last year? Do you go all out and make sure trick-or-treaters get full sized bars all night? Or, maybe you’re out causing trouble, TPing houses and smashing jack-o-melons? Be careful though, party poopers, or you risk incurring the wrath of the Summerween Trickster!
Inspired by Gravity Falls Summerween , this contest is meant to bring that later year excitement into the mid-year months! My personal favorite holiday is Halloween, so this is an early gift to everyone who shares the same favorite to help get through these heat wave ridden months ♥
