I can't say that I am a fan of hot pink, but I am a huge fan of the softer shades of pink.

All colors have their place and use, as long as you know a touch of color theory. Everything has a match and a way to look gorgeous.
When I was younger, I hated pink a lot, because I thought it was "for girls", and I didn't want to be a girl or for people to see me in that way. But as I grew older, I realized it wasn't the color's fault! It's just a color, of course, not a person. The problem was in people and in how they saw me, and that society has decided that pink is a soft and weak color. But in reality, colors don't have genders at all - not blue, or black, or green, or the whole rainbow have any gender.
And now I have bright pink hair, all poofy and curly, and it doesn't make me a girl or feminine. It's how you use it that makes the difference :P

also im very much into goth stuff so i tend to prefer black and im not a girl myself but i think pink is a very cute color and people are really obnoxious about the color pink just because they think its a little girls color and for some reason its cool for people to belittle girls for liking stuff like that (it isnt tho lol)

I wear pink a lot, specially in coral tones. There is not a single color that I hate, though I do wear black and white more often simply due to practicality - it is far easier to match shoes of those colors!
