she may seem like your run-of-the-mill giant mutant cowgirl sweetheart, but Bernice will just fugkin murk anyone who gets close to her cows, even just to pet them. she is also always near her cows and assumes anyone approaching her wants to touch her cows,,, so it's just best to keep your distance and avoid eye contact. luckily her farm is well outside the city, since the toxic city gas isn't good for her cows.
A few hundred years, gallons of nuclear waste and thousands of botched splices later, we've decimated the planet and left it crawling with mutants. The atmosphere is thick, damp layer of smog and no one has ever heard of "solid ground" they only know the sludge that blankets the earth.
You won't find much life that you would recognize here. Any non-mutated humans that are left are confined to the wreckage of old buildings where they can shield themselves from the radiation. With so few natural resources left, those who have found their sources guard them fiercely.
This creature has found a bog where the trees contain a sap with a water content. It's a precious find and the creature knows it. It's the perfect stockpile and the perfect trap for desperate humans. Any trespassers will be shot on sight and drained. Blood has a high iron content and we need all the nutrients we can get after all.

your name is big boy HOMARD. not long ago you were just a little crayfish crawling in your tank minding our own business. SUDDENLY! something is poured into your tank by a mysterious being. it is a bubbling, goopy, viscous, weird liquid.... you begin to CHANGE. you grow larger and larger, your shell turning into blue skin, your little claws turning into arms with hands, and giant horns coming from your now-endo skeleton skull. so now you can escape your tank FINALLY after MANY YEARS. YOU ARE FREE. but you cannot breathe because you are a crayfish so you find this gas mask (but it is a water mask because it contains water) so you can breathe. because you have been trapped in a PATHETIC TANK so long your have one desire in your large crayfish-human heart....... REVENGE!
