Hello! I have talked with Chris about +16 thing and he explained it in his post. I still think the site should be +18 as it used to be because we have alot of adult content in site such as shop items (nipples, smoking, drinking items) & artifacts and occasionally we find it on forums, comments and profiles too. Of course we can tell difference between real images and drawings, but it's the whole concept that matters.
Sometimes it's very hard to keep track on people's profiles but luckily people do report them to us on active basis. Also, if the site was +18, all over moderating would be much easier.
+16 change caused a lot of confusion, we still don't know for sure when exactly it happened and for months there was false information on ToS stating that the site was still +18 while register page told it was +16.
Ah. And I don't even want to imagine a 16 year old prime bimbo.
Me and my staff are working hard for getting rid of porn and other offensive materials from user accounts and we depend alot on your reports! Of course jail button won't hide profile content yet, but TB suggested that they could modify the tool a bit to hide profile content and comments. This may take some time but I personally like the idea. We wouldn't depend on them so much anymore.
Recently I was given a 90-day jail tool (but it still doesn't hide jailed person's profile or comments).
We have been working on a logical strike politics that Poison Black has already spoken about in another threads.
Basically forum punishments could be very similar to what we have now. First it would start with a warning or 1 day ban and if the same behavior continues they receive 3 and then 5 days ban. If 5 days ban doesn't help, we use jail tool starting with 1 day.
Violations that happen outside the forums such as harassing others via messages would cause first 1 day in jail. And possibly continued with 3-7-90 days in jail. Sure, we will look every situation individually, if the offense is severe, the offenser may receive instant 3-day jail time instead of 1. So, basically it should be very difficult to get yourself into jail for 90 days but as we know some of the players, it's definitely not impossible.
So yes, we are doing our best to make the site minor friendly too, but we depend on your reports alot. :)
