Currently in the process of establishing personal boundaries to end a never ending year of manipulative and abusive relationships; it’s hard but some people will have to be cut off for good, it’s not an easy decision and surely it will take some time to heal and restore personal energy. As for professional life… alls good so far. Wages coming soon ;)

i have to study med school is pain (:
feel weird venting on here but i don't want to burden my friends with this rn! me and my partner are breaking up this week, they r moving cross country and we decided long distance wouldn't work for us. their last day in town is thursday and im dreading it (obviously lmao). it feels like the last few times we meet up will be centered around the impending distance, they've already been very sad and stressed and i feel completely helpless to it. i feel like i don't have a right to their burdens anymore and there's nothing i can do to make them feel better. im really worried about them after they move because there will be a period of time before their classes and work start; they're a very active person and like to be really busy, and they won't be around a lot of people yet. im worried that they'll have nothing to do but be sad. i would say i'm more reflective by nature and i save more time for myself so i've been able to process the impending breakup all summer. i've already grieved about it and i'm already missing them but know i'll soon be ready to move forward. i hate to think of them taking the separation hard. they're so amazing and i know they'll have a great time after the transition. i'm grateful for all the time i've gotten with them, im also grateful that we're breaking up due to circumstance and not because we weren't able to make things work
i want these last few days together to be enjoyable even if they're not necessarily happy, i want so badly to end on a good note.
im so tired trying to catch up on school work before the new semester starts and also study for the exams on the second week back, probably shouldn't have left it last minute but i really needed the time off this summer to just think about other things - hopefully this year won't be too bad and that my end of year exams will go good
lately, i've realised that people write to me only when they need something. it's always me writing first. poeple who i consider my closer friends don't care about me that much. my one friend wrote to me because they wanted a disscount somewhere and in order to get it someone has to make a acc or smth, i've been trying to meet with them since january and they always can find excuses.''i have to study' GIRL you literally go out drinking with others all the time. it feels so lonely rn.
Good luck Yaz! Last time I was to a friends wedding (as a guest tho) and it lasted 6pm-2am so 8h isn’t as bad I think

I’m glad you still had fun with your friend @yazabelle. Having anxiety or just overthinking overall sucks when it comes to situations with people you care about. At least you still managed to pull through for your friend’s special day, and I know she probably appreciated you being there for her!
Also @space_pirate666 I’m already buying the pumpkin flavored food, making pumpkin spice coffee, seeing the leaves fall on the ground, and trying to get my partner watch Halloween movies with me now (we love horror and all that stuff, but he says it’s not close to Halloween yet to share the excitement yet). It was also my anniversary with him today of 7 years!
