Just because I'm a moderator doesn't mean I have to agree with you all, and also doesn't mean I have to like being called a "White Bitch". Also, I have just as much of a right to state my opinion as you do.

I still don't understand how can one know what race everyone is and what family everyone has. You all jump to saying 'racist' so easily but you can't prove I, for example, am not Mexican, POC or literally anything else.

i dont think it is, if its a respectful cosplay then go, thnking that is a character in a game that you can change as u like i feel that putting on different skin tones isnt a big deal, but if someone finds that disrespectful its okay i recognize im not part of any minority and dont know how much it can impact in the people that are part of one so ill read all pinions! uwu

I honestly don't know. It's not my culture, it's not my history, it's not my skin tone. I personally wouldn't do it, but that's because I am SCARED too. It doesn't matter what your intentions are, whether it's genuinely to admire a character and their culture, or to be a dick and blackface or whatever, someone will always call you a racist. I feel like I'm constantly walking on eggshells with topics like this, irl too, but I've learnt that there is no way in hell everyone will be happy. It just wont happen, so, pick who you wanna piss off. Me? I just won't be cosplaying someone not of my colour, video game or not, because someone somewhere will call me a racist and belittle me. But I'm happy to see others embracing and respecting the beauty in our differences and do think it should be encouraged.
Side note: "you cant be racist to white people" gtfo.

the idea of virtual cosplay, especially in a dress up game, is obviously very different from cosplay in the real world. If your goal is to recreate a character in-game, then molding it in their likeness as much as you can, including their skin tone, doesn’t seem inherently problematic to me. Because the goal isn’t to show a person of one race dressing up/shifting to look like one of another (that’s a yikes). the dolls are just blank canvases in this case, and are often not representative of the user or their online persona under cosplay.

Because it can be interpreted in different ways, there’s a lot more potential nuance that can be explored about this topic.

Also “i don’t do it, but that’s because i’m SCARED to.” Poor you being more scared of being called racist than being a victim of racism? Lol

Think you missed the point of my post entirely there. I'm not claiming to be racist or victimise anyone? I'm simply saying I don't want to upset people kekw. And you've literally proven my point

I have a Mexican bimbo for my celebration look. I happen to love Dia De Los Muertos and the whole history behind it. Therefore I made her Mexican because it's authentic. I guess I am one of those "White Bitches". People like you, 90r3y have no problem talking racist shit on us but The second we say something you don't like we're the racist. If you say white bitches simply because someone has white skin.. it wouldn't matter to us. We don't care, we don't take ourselves as serious as you think. This might be a whole nother story if this was real like and I painted my skin to look dark for a celebration outfit.. but it's not It's bimboland. We are here to do fashion and make outfits. Everyone has suddenly started whining about everything these days.. and now it's starting on Bimboland. Just go on, git.
you say, literally while whining and crying yourself. maybe not everything is for you to celebrate if you don't know how to act right
