I didn't say you were upset either...? As I said, I think you are just misunderstanding my point. My bad if I phrased it wrong, I'm autistic so I don't write things expecting people to imply what isn't there. I simply meant I would not cosplay a black person in-game because I am not black and that would upset people. And regarding your previous comment, it was very passive-aggressive, I think anyone would get upset being called a racist if they weren't being and that wasn't their intention. I think the comment about me being upset about not being a victim of racism is irrelevant, I neither said nor implied that, so I'm not sure what your point was. You also didn't state that what I said had weird implications until now, simply saying that would've been far more educating than a simple "lol"
I’m really not sure how else i could’ve “proven your point”, if your point was that you didn’t want to upset people. So i understood it in that way.
But that’s the thing, it’s normal to be taken aback if someone says an action is racist, especially when you (gen) don’t have the intent to do harm. But it’s not really the person who gets called out’s place to then be the victim in that case. Whether you feel their responses are personally valid or not is not my issue, because not everyone is going to agree about what is warranted and what isn’t. The problem comes with the fact that by someone saying “this is disrespectful” makes you feel attacked and victimized yourself. I feel as though phrasing things like “i’m scared to” implies that.
