It's a poll time babes!!
There are 5 polls with 26 theme suggestions in total. Each poll has 5 options offered, except the third one that has 6 options.
As most of you already know, one player can vote for only one theme in the single poll. Because of that read the description of each theme before you give your vote to one of
them. We want the best of the bests, so may the best win!
All of you are desired to vote in all 5 polls. Multiple
polls are there for a reason! The idea is to offer each voter more than
one option to vote for. Since it would be impossible to make in a single poll with 26 options, they are divided in 5 polls. In short, each of you can vote for 5 themes this way.
As mentioned previously, themes are a bit mixed on purpose. They
don't follow the exact order of the posts from the thread where they
were posted. There are a few categories how I decided to divide and group them:
- Some players gave multiple suggestions. Two or more themes given by the same player are not in the same poll. I guess the reason for it is quite obvious. Putting them in the same poll would lower down chances for getting in the next round or winning for those who actually proposed more.

There were some suggestions that are not completely the same yet they
are similar, more or less. I wanted to avoid putting them in the same
poll in order to make the voting process easier and spare you from a
dilemma. Also didn't want to disqualify any, it's a tricky kind of job,
and most of all didn't want to take away a chance for winning from
anyone nor lower down your choice.
- There were some themes similar to those we have
had in the past, either in PBFC or forum contests. They are also
distributed in various polls and mixed with other themes. Again, I
didn't want to deal with disqualifying any just because we have had it
already. Maybe there are new players who didn't participate in these
past contests. Some of you may have been here back then but didn't have a
chance to participate even if you wanted to or just missed it. And last
but not the least, if some topic/theme is popular - it's just popular,
no matter if it's a golden oldie or the new one.
Hope this explains why there are multiple polls and the logic behind the way of how the themes were grouped.
Polls details:
- Level limits for voting are minimum level 10 and maximum level 300
- Polls' timing isn't set, so you can see which are the leading ones at any time.
- Approximate time for closing them and gathering results for the next poll/s is Thursday Apr. 21st BL midnight time.
When
the voting in the current polls is over, I am going to take a
screenshot of each poll in order to have all data clear. Then, a new
poll or more of them will be created containing only the leading
suggestions and that's going to be the second round of voting.
Whether
or not there is going to be the third round of voting mostly depends on
how many themes will be placed for the second round, will there be ties
and so on. Voting time for upcoming poll/s is also going to be several
days only so that we can have the winners as soon as possible.
Reasons for multi-rounds voting:
A little digression... Once, that was suggested for PBFC theme voting and I liked that idea. Sometimes we vote for the theme that fits us personally the most but that exact theme could be a bit niche and quite far from winning. If we could have known which themes would be the leading ones in advance, maybe we would give our votes differently. Or, if there were multiple rounds all players who voted for themes that placed low would be able to vote again after the choice narrowed down on leading ones only. That could bring a big turnover when it comes to the winning theme.
