I haven't bought any masks, but they're good for people who suspect or know they've caught something to keep other people safe! honestly the most important thing you can do to keep yourself safe is wash your hands, frequently and for 20 seconds, and to make sure if you sneeze/cough do it into your elbow. My mom works in healthcare though and it makes me so mad that people are actually stealing masks and hand sanitizer from the hospitals?! like wtf

I got to see some internet friends today. One of them is all the way from Texas (we live in California) and he's visiting for a week and we decided to meet up with like half our friend group and hang out :] it was pretty awesome haha. Had pizza and burgers and hung out drawing, playing games, and being feral bastards lmao

I can't help but think of your and your internet friends' grandparents, all of whom you're putting at risk potentially by meeting like this... :(
You're young, you have your whole life ahead of you (I assume, sorry if I guessed your general age wrong). You'll have all the time in the world to meet and chat in just a month or two. Right now though us young people have to do the right thing by our elders and not unwittingly spread the virus.

i would like to say that personally my only living grandparent and both of my parents live in completely different states, hundreds of miles away. maybe sinistar isnt around a bunch of old people. not trying to detract from your point, because traveling to different states is totally a bad idea right now, but "your grandparents are at risk" isnt a valid concern for everyone. at the end of the day though, you should care about other people, even if they are someone else's grandparents.
i would also like to rant for a moment about how my job is total bullshit in this pandemic and i am actually the person you should be complaining about alex. i work as a delivery driver and of course our restaurant is not closing, despite the fact the local school districts have. i spend my shift running around from stranger to stranger to stranger, collecting cash or having their mystery hands all over my pen. then i go back to a freaking restaurant. we were supposed to receive sanitation kits for between deliveries, but those are currently "in the mail." i wash my hands every time i come back (as is protocol) and i wipe my pen in hand sanitizer every time someone touches it, but i see with my eyes that not everyone at my store takes those precautions.
each delivery i take i see my city map in my head and i see the trail of germs i am spreading and i hate knowing that there is little i can do to stop it. i want our store to close but also i need to pay my rent. awful irony is that deliveries have gone way up, as well, since people are stuck at home.

All my grandparents died before I was born. As I said our duty is to our elders - that includes all older people. Besides that we also gotta look out for other more vulnerable groups. My point is, stay inside and eat cake :)
Horrible and shocking that some businesses still operate though... I mean, I guess someone has do do these deliveries.. but also do they really? It sucks for everyone, the delivery drivers, the people getting deliveries, the other members of the staff.... but hey gotta keep those profits up! >.>
