i can tangentially relate, i used to smoke lots of weed to make myself pass out ... idk if youve tried it or not but i actually started taking liquid melatonin to help me sleep! i usually take 30ml liquid but if that doesnt put me out i try to take 10mg gummy melatonin on top of it. i hope you can get some rest soon!melatonin, cbd and other homeopathic stuff has done nothing for me unfortunately :( ive had problems sleeping since i was a kid (now in my early 20s) and ive tried everything in the book but when i go to bed i just cant "turn off" my brain and sleep unless im at the brink of exhaustion. the only thing that has rly helped is ambien bc it gets you mad high and slows down your thinking lol but it has a lot of terrible side effects as well (really amps up my depression and anxiety + tolerance builds up crazy fast, i standardly need 20mg and i have to stop eating at least 6-7 hours b4 taking it otherwise i wont feel the effects) but unfortunately it rly is the only thing that helps me (as far as i know). insomnia is one of those things i wouldnt wish upon my worst enemy, having your body be unable to perform the most basic vital task it needs to function is so frustrating and tiring
