I had a corrupted file in my D drive that wouldn’t delete and it’s made the entire drive undetectable, like it’s completely gone. My pc cant detect it in my available stations so it won’t let me reformat the drive and my BIOS can’t detect it either so it might be a physical problem (which i don’t understand cos it all started with a corrupted folder). I was able to backup most of my documents on an external harddrive thankfully because at first it would just disappear and reappear if i rebooted but now it’s completely gone from the moment i start up my pc. I only
have 256gb on my C drive and the D drive that stopped working was 1TB so yikes!! I had my origin and steam installation and data there but i backed up my sims 4 folder so i’m good. Still gonna try a couple more things and otherwise i’ll book an appointment to get the drive looked at.

there are kittens outside that we feed. there are four strays, a mama kitten with three babies. mama is prolly around 6-8 months? babies im not sure. theres also a cat our neighbor across the street feeds as well, and he goes in and out of her house. he used to be a housecat, and he was left behind when the previous tenants needed to move (the home across the street is for rent only, i believe). anyway, hes now an indoor-outdoor cat.
it has been a week since weve seen him. there have been local reports of raccoons with rabies in neighboring areas - not our area, but nearby enough that it featured on the news. we spotted a raccoon late at night eating the last bits of cat food from the porch when we came back from shopping maybe two days ago. we havent seen him since, but now were all super worried for the kittens, and the neighbor cat who we havent seen in over a week. that raccoon wasnt scared of us. he just kept eating while we were there. he was scared away when mom made a noise, so he didnt have rabies most likely, but theres a lot of other concerns - if the raccoons hungry enough, it will hurt the kittens in hope of getting an easy meal. he will probably try to scavenge our garbage first, but if he cant get to it the kittens might be next. not to mention raccoons arent aggressive unless rabid - but they will defend themselves. if one of the cats gets territorial (which cats are known for, esp feral cats) then they will prob start a fight with the raccoon and cause him to retaliate in self-defense. i am scared to death thats what happened to milo and thats why we havent seen him, or the kittens arent bothered by the raccoon bc of milo.
we have been trying to figure out what to do, and were changing up our care routine for them a bit - not leaving food out at night, picking up the water after dark, etc. we hope that makes the raccoon move on from our house, bc we dont want to have to call any pest removal service or animal control. they might harm or even kill the raccoon if we suspect it has rabies, and we dont want that! my sister is going to korea for studying abroad. we have to leave at like 4am to get to the airport at time so we have to put the food out earlier than usual. we just really hope that by then the raccoon is gone, or at least doesnt bother the kittens.

and i was takin my medicine. like usual, cause im on somuch medicine lol. and my turmeric. oh my god. theres something wrong with this brand of turmeric is2g bc this never used to happen, but it activates my acid reflux somehow. bc sometimes after i take it the powder inside (its a capsule) will just kinda. come Back Up???? it is so disgusting and it makes me want to cry. so im getting dressed, in a hurry bc we are running late. and suddenly POWDER is everywhere in my throat. its comin up so fast and i start coughing HARD. harder than i usual do. i almost got sick and i have emetophobia so i just sat down on my bed and tried to drink water but it just felt so horrible and i was absolutely terrified. i started crying. i yelled for mom cause she was downstairs and she ran up bc she just heard me scream for her crying out of nowhere yknow. and she wanted to know what was up. for a good minute i couldnt stop cryin and she did that thing moms do where she just was like 'ok breathe ok calm down sweetie ccalm down breathe brea t h e' and it helped. i explained wht happened. and she helped me calm down
were not gonna get that brand of turmeric again. and hopefully it doesnt happen that bad again :(
