They were singing these super romantic songs in Spanish, I don’t remember the names because they’re kind of old, but they’re those kinds of songs in which you can picture the super dramatic music video with rain and messy hair as the singers look at each other in the eyes lol they’re so nice~

Jeezi know this convo is over but i have a mom like this, she acknowledges i have EDS but never wanted me to see a doctor because she never took it seriously, and now my EDS has partly ruined my body and walking is on a scale of perfectly fine to painful to impossible for periods of time and im only 18, i hope this womans kids get help because at the beginning i was just a super flexible kid too, that category of defensiveness does nothing but hurts you/your children, also obviously a kid with EDS is not gonna have many symptoms besides flexibility, they're kids. EDS usually gets worse with age
sorry for the rant it’s just frustrating because i am definitely the kind of person who may point out ‘obvious’ things or things that could potentially be related but potentially not because i never want to guess what someone knows or not. like for example not many people know infants cannot drink water, in fact it’s bad for them. and there’s no shame in not knowing things that others find obvious or common knowledge. life isn’t a competitive game of who can have the most knowledge. just help each other out idk

thatz shitty especially becuz EDS is inherited :[ the most common typez r autosomal dominant mutations (50% chance of each kid getting it) so if all of ur kids r flexible n hypermobile u shuld get that checked out!! i dont think itz rude 2 point that out especially to some1 who isnt aware of it
