no matter what, their accounts were not going to continue to exist, whether that was by our hand or someone else’s. if this was a regular played who sweetasnuts suddenly demanded we ban, we would absolutely not stand for that. but these accounts were made just to parody sweetasnuts, they were not even a week old so very little (if any) in-game progress will be lost, and the owners can make as many times as they want so long as they have parody in their username. resignation over <1 week old accounts that the owners had the option of remaking immediately with a slightly altered username would not lead to those accounts not being banned, and would throw a massive wrench in multiple ongoing projects we have in the works. both the trial and resignation would accomplish quite literally nothing, because the outcome is the same in all cases.
does that make sense? this is a very open-and-shut case, as cherri said, but regardless, we appreciate the concern about fairness and integrity, as those are things we value highly :^]
