hi fish gang!! thank you for checking out my program :> I’ve split it into 3 parts: a bit about me, Atheista traditions I promise to continue, and some new ideas that I have (and welcome feedback on). Let’s dive in !
About Me
I’m Pixie, I’m 24 and use she/her pronouns. I’ve been playing XL for about two years now and I really love the community here, especially within Atheista!! Fishy state is the best state, you all have my commitment and my heart <3
In terms of credentials, I’ve successfully run two all-state contests with the help of our current SM Audrey (Ximbo Designer Runway, JoJo’s Bizarre Fashion Contest) plus a few of my theme suggestions have been selected for previous state monthly contests (creepy crawler couture, THE ROT CONSUMES)... and there's more where that came from if I'm elected LOL. During the last State Wars I served as one of Atheista’s generals, and I also serve… in general ;>
Based on the experience above, I feel ready to run for SM. I may not yet know everything there is to know, but I feel confident knowing that Audrey will help with any questions that come up along the way if I am elected! (I’ll be honest--I wasn’t expecting to run until after Audrey finished all of her terms, but she encouraged me to, so here I am !! a little friendly fishy competition >:) and if I don’t win, you’ll see me again next election season <3)
Traditions to Continue
I adore Atheista’s existing traditions, new and old, and intend to continue as many as I can! This includes keeping up with our monthly contests, birthday board, monthly recognitions, weekly updates, and spirit week :>
I would like to continue running monthly contests the way that Audrey determined, with two per month (the normal monthly fashion contest that you all judge based on likes, and an SM monthly contest/activity that I would judge). The only reason I might deviate from this two contest per month setup is if we have a month that is already particularly busy with other events like State Wars or Fashion Week for example!!
New Ideas
If I am elected, one of my main goals for the term is to spread more positivity, and I already have a few forum-related ideas for starters <3 one example is a Weekly Ximbo Spotlight in which I pick a ximbo that I see doing good things for the community and share my appreciation along with some type of gift for them!!
I’d also like to give out semi-random small gifts to brighten people’s day. An example of this would be me picking out some threads from our state hall at the beginning of the week and choosing to reward every fifth person who posts in those threads for the week, or something else similarly random. We already reward the fishies that are most active in our forum, but this could be a fun chance for players who aren’t/can’t be as active to still get a little treat for finding the time to join us ! :>
I’m also open to any new ideas and collaboration from anyone, whether it be forum related, contest related, or general feedback <3 questions are welcome too!! thank you so so much for taking the time to read my program ! I think we can all look forward to a wonderful term ahead of us no matter who wins :> love you all
