I like this thread. I wish I would have seen it last night I was so frustrated with my husband I didn't want to look at .
I’m sorry for your loss, but it’s just impossible to make someone else sick over your pregnancy.. don’t know what he had or what he had done why he died, but no, not your fault. Hope you don’t feel that much guilt!
It's not your fault darling and I am truly sorry they made you feel so guilty. His illness had nothing to do with you.
Please don't buy into these things, I am not sure why they would tell you such thing but it's simply not true.
If you live with these people I would advise to stay with friends for a while and seek a less toxic environment.

Ooo I love my family I do but they are making it hard for me right now. My husband tells me that him and my dad got into an argument.. Ok they usually argue over sport stats, movie reviews and other things. Today they got into argument over paperwork at work and are not speaking to each other..WTH they are not Father in-law son in-law they are actual friends they work out together, they go out to eat together and they went into business together. I even got a few phone calls from my mom about it . I had to tell her I didn't want to get involved in any of it. I'm already stressed to the max. I need these two men to grow up and stop acting like babies. My hubby has not had any time off except for Sunday he's working long hours and trying bond with the babies. I think her a little sensitive but my dad needs to realize he has a lot going on. Vent over
It seems you have a lot going on right now in your life Carmel. And the last thing you need is someone else's stress. Let these two grown men fight amongst themselves. I am sure that they will talk to each other soon. It also seems that all that's going on has an impact on your husband and father-in-law too. That might have been the thing that put them over the edge. Don't beat yourself up over it, you need to focus on yourself now and your newborn babies. Let them sort it out for themselves. But if their squabble puts stress on you then simply tell them that you can't deal with that now, with everything that's going on.
Family fights too, I have been in countless arguements and fights with my brother and sister. There have been times I didn't even talk to my brother for months (one time even 2 years). I'm just saying these things happen and if your husband and his dad love each other (and I suspect they do or else they wouldn't fight) they will settle their argument soon.
Just don't take on stress that doesn't belong to you dear Carmel. This one is on them.

I know you are right. I usually don't take sides in family arguements but the hubby and my dad are different because my husband is going to talk to me about . my dad is going to talk to my mom about it and then my mom calls me to talk about it. She defends her husband and of course I have to say let them figure it out I do not like confrontation. She agreed but she said my dads feelings were hurt I said husband feelings were hurt as .. He is so upset that he is thinking about leaving the business.
