Happy Sunday to you all, wow what a busy weekend. I didn't stop all day yesterday and missed stopping by to say hello to my Ximboland buddies. Today has been busy too, i'm finally able to sit in the break room and play some Ximboland.
I've never understood toy guns, like toy cigarettes that my mum often comments about when she speaks about her childhood. Of course back then the dangers of smoking were less known about. So encouraging children to eat sweet cigarettes and have toy cigs were not even considered as bad. Mom once gave me some white sweet sticks and told me that in her day they were called sweet cigarettes and that they came in little boxes and had a red tip so you could suck on them and look like you were smoking. She also told me all about sweet tobacco that came in pouches, it was made of shredded coconut and sprinkled with brown sugary coating to resemble pouch tobacco. I wonder how many of todays sweet treats will one day become taboo like those sweet tobacco products. As for toy gun well I won't get on that.... for now *smiles*

Why do scrapes hurt so much more when youre younger?? i tripped earlier and scraped my knee, and it didnt hurt that badly but i know when i was younger if i had done the same thing, i wouldve been in full-blown tears. idk, weird to think about, theres probably a good reason for that but i just never thought about it before
everything feels stronger when you’re younger because you have less experience to compare it to, so you don’t know what to expect/how to prepare for pain! for example I have no problem getting injections now but as a kid I found them so scary. your pain tolerance builds up over time and also your senses are strongest when you’re little, from your hearing to your pain receptors to your tastebuds
