I remember being invincible when I was 14 year's old.
Not a care in the world. No danger, nor fear's. No sense of the future, or money or where I was going to sleep next.

I used to climb trees as high as houses but now I could never do it too scary. The things you did as a kid.
WhenI have kids I don't want them to do dangerous things but I also don't want them to be wrapped in cotton wool either. I feel kids learn by getting hurt.
Growing up I never broke any bones but I did get stabbed in the eye with a pen, trampoline fell on top of me, burnt by a lamp but I'm fine now. Our bodies are made to heal I know you don't want your kids to hurt themselves but sometimes they need to be hurt so they can learn lessons.

After that, I kept my shooting to bottle's and can's .
In adult hood I've only had to pull my service weapon out 2 time's and only shot it once to stop a criminal. It was a warning shot, that the next bullet, would be in his body.
I feel actually sort of lucky, I haven't had to take someone's life, to save an innocent victim.
