I would like to add that this is a dress up game. This is NOT some discussion platform for social issues at all. It is a GAME, it should be fun. Discussing heavy social subjects is not that fun and can be done everywhere else on the internet. So please have some fun and just ignore people you don't like. Thank you :)

thing is, i agree we should nvr stoop to the person's level when they insult you. ever. thing is though, when ignorant ppl spew hate (in this case, homophobia), are you really expecting others to quietly take it just because "it's a dress-up game" and not to "police opinions/tone"?

i understand some ppl want to keep the forums decent. and i also agree we shouldn't attack people. but i disagree that we should just let repeated instances of homophobia, trolling and racism slide by when it directly affects the other players. if it was in private, fine, sure but you can't air your opinions out and not expect backlash for it.

also, the whole point about this being a "dress-up game" is moot - this whole friggin' website is based on politics - sex, money, religion, sports. the countries. elections. this site was designed specifically around being "intelligent" and using social issues to get ahead. so asking us to not discuss social issues is... i'd say it's against the whole point of the site, tbh.

EDIT: even if we were to avoid discussing social issues, homophobia isn't a "social issue", is it? it's an all out attack on a person's dignity and identity. again, i disagree we should just let it go.

This game is not just a dress up game, because it's also a community. And as a community, we should make sure that everyone feels safe to enjoy theirselfs and had fun. I never ever said anything barely offensive to anyone - even jamie fae - in this plataform and I'll never do that, but I don't think that homophobia can be acceptable.

Using @Alexstrasza example, if Siliconebody have been punished in the first offense, then none of this should ever be happen. So I think you're responsable for the things you've done in the past but only to a certainly level.

I respect all the ADMs, and SM, and the PB 'cuz I know you do the best for this game and community and sometimes, can't even had fun due to the others players bad behavior, so please, don't take that as an attack @Ulvhid (or anyone). But I think that jamie fae homophobic behavior in foruns should be punished, so the LGBTQIA+'s players CAN let it go. I totally understand what you said back in the other forum about Bimbo Talk, but I figure out that most of the players who argue about the whole homophobic thing could feel that jamie has a "free pass" to speak that sort of thing without beein' punished.

For myself, I think IF jamie apologizes or the ADMs punish him for the huge homophobia display, then the whole thing could be solved in an easier way. But again, that's what I think and I don't wan't to hurt anyone feelings, okay?

I just want to make it clear here that SB was punished, repeatedly, and he kept lashing out instead of apologizing or learning from it. And we did the exact same in return - it was a bad decision on all of us. And while it's a good parallel to this situation, as a whole, that situation was not the same.

Ideally someone who is reprimanded learns from their mistake and moves on, and so would everyone else. Unfortunately it doesn't always pan out. So "none of this should ever happen" doesn't always hold true.

Why bring this sort of 'court of public' opinion into a PUB?
'My best real life friend is a gay man with HIV.'
He calls me a progressive conservative, and he is a progressive liberal.   My god,  You should hear us argue.  I fascinate him, [the bi sexual side of him.]  He repulses me sexually,  not because of who he is,  but the immunological virus he willing was infected with : HIV.  He know's damns well how he got it,  and told me the whole story.
Oddly enough, he uses HIV, and his tested low 'viral load' as a pity-card, as a reason I should let him have unprotected sex with me.    I'm sorry but I'm not willing to take that risk for him to have sex with me.  I also don't believe that this is a homophobic way of treating my best friend.  I have every right and indeed responsibility to not have sex with an HIV carrier.  This sexual respect for ones self and body, does not make someone homophobic against someone else.  I like my best friend,  but every time I tell him to stop molesting me,:   he talks like a little girl's voice and says, " Everyone hate's me. "

He just cannot help but to be a victim in his own head,  when he is denied sex.  He is his own worst enemy, where sex is concerned.  A homophobic person, he doesn't know is the least of his problem's .  He put's himself in great harm and danger, using the internet to meet men from anywhere in the world, just for the promise of drug's and sex.  [in my humble opinion].  Not to mention all the married men now exposed to HIV,  and the wives and children of those traveler's/ hook-up's.
In my friend's mind, he think's is good sex.   I am his friend, and I am Afraid of him.

I don't blame you for not wanting to have unprotected sex with him, given the risk of infection. Low viral load is not the same as an undetectable viral load. If your "friend" knowingly infects others with HIV, that is a whole separate can of worms and a legitimate public health concern, and I'm not willing to tackle that in this thread.

But being scared of someone with HIV just because they have HIV is incredibly fucked up and why so many people with HIV won't, don't, or can't seek help for it. Fear increases stigma, which hurts everyone involved.

I get it. Then, I'm sorry for what I said. But I think that sometimes, people who insists in a toxic behaviour should get banned for the community for the health's sake of everyone involved, theirselves include.

I don't know if this is even possible in thebimbolands, but if it's not, then it's something that should be discussed.

Don't worry, SB's account did get permanently banned lol. He made more accounts as well (using VPNs apparently)but has either been inactive or silent since, so I don't really care about it.
We can ban someone permanently from the site, but it takes multiple infractions to get there. Like you have to truly be god awful repeatedly over time.

I think living in a small town, allows me to see a sort of 'Speed'ed' up sense of a social experiment.
When I was happily married, and at a restaurant, public gathering, or in a city park,  I never saw homosexuals of ether gender.
Then I became a widow.   Had my fling's and met some wild female partner's because I thought all men were loser's at this point in my life trying to 'DATE' again......
Then I met Adam.   My perfect intellectual date,  but sexually Poison.
He has let me walk in his shoe, right by his side.  Into the club's and on date's that turned into his hook-up's.   He has abandoned me, his date, to have sex with a man and abandoned me with the bar-bill.
I can tell you this....   I don't envy his sex life at all.    I'm glad my husband was so romantic when I was a teenager, and new- mother.  Adam would have frightened, the 18 year old me, and I might have turned out as a very different person.  Most likely dead of a heroin overdose.  However being with him as adult, showed me just how many men are actually homosexual in a very small population center.    The realization that more men were interested in him, verses me. In  total 'Dive-bar' was humbling to me, to say the least.   Walking in with me, was the conversation starter.    Then it was game on for him, as a slut.
He has style,  I grant him that..........  and he does pay me back, for abandoned bar bill's.   hahahaaaa
