Thats true they was used to find alts and people cheating with their alts to raise their stats. Since detective role was for alts and players are now allowed alts they aren't needed anymore since Chris solved that problem with players having more than one account.

Yes that problem has been solved, I have no issue with that. Unfortunately, players who are minors now have alts and I can't ban them all. So do watch out who you speak to on the forums now, minors are hiding in alts and you could be interacting with 14 year olds, this isn't beneficial to anyone. I truly do not care about people having alts, what I care about is the safety of minors and the fact adults are unknowingly and unwillingly talking to literal tweens.
True but unless they put age you can't 100% prove alt is theirs unfortunately. Minors will always be an issue no matter what and some are smart enough to never reveal their age unlike some which is how they get found out.
Minors happen on sites other than BL that are 18+ its just one of them things. Its a shame there is no way to prove everytime unless age is given and it won't be something that is ever easily solved and we should be careful because we never know who could be a minor which sucks for us adults since it is a 18+ site.

we have to do something about minors both for their safety and to enforce the site rules. we can’t prevent all minors from being here given that they can just lie but its irresponsible to just do nothing. ive already had one occasion of a minor directly telling me that it doesnt matter if i ban them because theyre just going to keep making alts. for that reason we need detective tools.
Well i wouldn't say "we" (meaning PH) as that implies more than one person needs the tool for minors which makes no sense since you can't hunt down minors with it. You will know a minor is a minor if they reveal their age and will most likely end up in reports. Tools will not tell who is a minor. Only 1 person needs it if this is how the PB thinks it should go and that would most likely be the PB. However the detectives are supposed to be annonymous so if PB thinks this is whats needed maybe Chris should open applications for new detective role and only admins would know who it is.
