Creamy Garlic Spaghetti Squash
If you haven't tried spaghetti squash, you need to nowww

Ingredients 
- 5 cups cooked spaghetti squash (bake the squash cut open and coated in olive oil at 400F for 30-50 minutes, then use a fork to scrape the flesh from the shell)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 shallot or yellow onion, minced
- 2 tbsp dried tomatoes 
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream or coconut cream/milk
- 1 cup baby spinach 
-1/4 tsp salt

Directions
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat - add garlic and shallot/onion - cook for 1-2 minutes 
2. Mix in tomatoes and cook for one more minute
3. Pour in the cream and cook until hot and bubbly - cook for 1-2 more minutes 
4. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese and spinach 
5. Stir in squash and season with salt and pepper

I've got a bit of a personal recipe for brown sugar burgers!

- 1/4 to 1/2 cup of brown sugar for every pound of ground beef, depending on personal taste
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce for every pound of ground beef
- season to preference (black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder)

Mix ingredients in a bowl by hand until thoroughly mixed, then shape into patties. Cook on each side for about 10 minutes on medium heat, use a good nonstick pan because you're gonna get a good layer of burnt sugar on it

I love making my own flatbread since it’s literally so easy and better than buying nasty store pita

Mix together all ingredients: 
250g flour (I prefer wholemeal, sometimes I use 200g wholemeal and 50g besam trust me it’s good) 
150g warm water 
3 tbs or 60g olive oil
2 tbs or 40g yeast powder
Generous pinch of salt, like a tsp or 5g 

Knead the dough until it’s smooth and stretchy then let it rise somewhere warm for 30 mins. Divide it into 6-8 balls and roll flat. 

Cook on a hot frypan (I don’t use oil here bc it makes the bread kind of gross). For each bread, pour a little bit of water around the pan and cover with a lid so the bread can steam and puff up. 

I love eating it w roasted peppers which u can just do over a stove flame. U can also dice the pepper and fry it with chili, garlic, and olive oil until it’s cooked down and super rich.

Debated if it was actually worth posting since it's not so much a recipe and simple af but fuck it, I don't think most people realize how EASY it is to make your own applesauce

Ingredients
Apples, as many you want, the more apples the more applesauce, but I'd recommend at least 2 to 3 apples for a one person sized portion of applesauce
Water, should only cover about 2/4th of the apples, remove water if necessary if you feel it's becoming too soupy
Sugar and/or honey, as much as you want

Preparation
Cut the apples into pieces, throw them into a pan and add water. Peel the apples if you want but I personally don't since the skin of the apples is where the most vitamins and nutrition is at. Bring the water to a boil and let the apple pieces boil for 15-20 minutes. After the apple pieces have become soft you can start mashing them with a potato masher or use a hand blender, make it as smooth or as chunky as you like. Add sugar and/or honey to taste and your applesauce is done!

Tip
Add some orange peel zest to taste if you want to give your applesauce a bit of a kick!

So I got a Cooking With Mickey Vol 2 cookbook when thrift shopping so I have some recipes from all the Disney resorts I'll share some of my faves or those that make the most. 

Mini Chicken Brochettes with Sweet and Sour Sace, Special Events from Disneyland Hotel
Yeild: 12 skewers
12 5-inch bamboo skewers1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch cubes1 10oz can pineapple chunks; reserve juice1 6oz jar cocktail onions1 large green bell pepper, cut into 24 small squaresSweet and Sour Sauce (recipe follows)- Soak bamboo skewers in cold water for 30 minutes to prevent burning when cooked. 
- Assemble brochettes in this order: chicken, onion, pepper, chicken, pineapple, chicken, onion, pepper, and chicken. Repeat the process until all brochettes are complete
- Broil, bake, barbecue, or saute brochettes, as desired, until fully cooked
- Serve immediately, topped with sweet and sour sauce

Sweet and Sour Sauce
1/2 cp onion, chopped1/2 cp green bell pepper, chopped2oz butterreserved juice from pineapple can2 cups tomato ketchup2 tablespoons red wine vinegar1 cinnamon stick1 teaspoon ginger, ground1 teaspoon cloves, ground1 tablespoon brown sugar1/2 cup orange juice- Melt butter in a medium-sized skilled
- Add onion and pepper and saute until tender
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix will
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer
- Cook for 8 to 10 minutes

German Potato Soup, Concourse Grille - Disney's Contemporary Resort
Yield: 1 gallon
1 cup onions. diced small1 cup celery, diced small1 cup carrots, diced small2 cups potatoes, diced small4 tablespoons bacon fat4 cubes chicken bouillon1/3 cup leeks, diced1 teaspoon marjoram1 1/2 cups instant potatoes4 quarts watersaltwhite pepper- Saute onions, celery, and carrots in bacon fat for about 5 minutes
- Slowly add water, bouillon cubes, leeks, and potatoes and cook at a rolling simmer for about 20 minues
- Add instant potatoes, marjoram, and salt and pepper to taste
- Simmer 15 minutes

a recipe i got from 4chan, because that's honestly all it's useful for
this is for soft, chewy, thick cookies. the "secret" is to portion them and freeze, then bake from frozen. some people use cornstarch or pudding mix to achieve this texture and you can also do that in conjunction with this method.
remember that while baking, measurements are very precise. it's more chemistry and less cooking. if you're a new baker, look up the proper way to measure ingredients like flour, and what the difference is between room temperature and softened butter is.

1 CUP (two sticks) butter, softened
½ CUP shortening
1½ CUP dark brown sugar
½ CUP white sugar
2 eggs
4 TEASPOONS vanilla extract
4⅓ CUP all-purpose flour
2 TABLESPOON cornstarch
2 TEASPOON baking soda
1 TEASPOON salt
1 BAG (16oz) mini chocolate chips

cream together the butter, shortening, and sugar
mix in eggs and vanilla extract
in a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients
slowly mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture
mix in chocolate chips
scoop dough into ¼ CUP portions and form into thick discs
freeze
bake at 350°F for 15 minutes

One of my favourite things to make is pesto pasta! It's pretty quick and I like to make it if I get off work late or want to use up stuff in the fridge. It's also pretty good as leftovers (and I'm generally pretty picky about leftovers), I just fry it on medium heat for a couple minutes.

Ingredients:
- Rotini or Fusili
- 1 jar of pesto
- Vegetables (I like to use broccoli or green beans, frozen or fresh depending on what you have)
- Olives (Optional but I like to add Kalamata olives)
- Parmesan (Also optional)

Instructions:
- Boil water with olive oil and some salt
- Steam the vegetables - I just use the microwave for frozen ones, if I have fresh vegetables I either put them in the instant pot or put like an inch of water in a pot and cook them for about 10 minutes
- Once the water is boiling add your pasta and cook the pasta for however long the package says for al dente
- Drain the pasta, leave the pasta in the colander
- Add your vegetables, olives, and the pesto to the pot and let it cook together for a minute or so at medium heat
- Put the pasta back in the pot and mix it together with the parmesan if you're using it
