At first I’m depressed so I cry and lay in my bed for a few days. I can’t eat, can’t sleep, I’m just thinking about memories and how fucked up people are. But after some time I start to work on myself, mentally and physically... I don’t like relationships because it cause me a lot of pain I can’t get rid of anytime soon ;l

There are some people I kept the contact info for. Maybe not saved in my phone but in a paper phone book. Back in the day, I had a contact book with a denim cover. I definitely didn't block anyone back then. Pretty sure it cost money to ask the phone company to block a #. (We didn't have caller ID, then, either, so there was no way to tell if an ex was calling.)
Nowadays, with all this tech, social media & other sites, you may want to unfriend your ex and/or block. Depending on the site, there are also options like "mute" & "ignore" which are different than a true block. Any of them can help put space between them & you.
I also like to write out why the person wasn't right for me. I may have to do this multiple times. It can be a good reminder when I think about the good times & want to try again.
I don't like rebound (romantic) relationships but I do think being social (platonically) is helpful. After one breakup, I started going back to a coffee hour at a church, even though I'm not religious. I joined a hiking club after a breakup, etc.

I am super depressed for a few days... but I get up and keep going. I tend to stay in relationships longer than I should for fear of having to feel that pain.
try to spend time with close friends and reconnect to people who i may have neglected in favour of the relationship, write in my journal, spend time in nature, listen to sad albums and do some crying, hold onto the memories for an unhealthily long time and be in a lot of pain about how all those happy memories feel tainted now, change something about my appearance (to try and make a concrete 'next step' written on my body in some way)

i super agree with the above comment, very similar methods. wanna especially put emphasis on reconnecting with people you may have neglected in favor of the relationship that just ended. its super important to remember youre not alone, esp after most of your reassurance of that is gone
