Miss Bimbo, for your consideration: I was a paying senator for just six months before ending my senator subscription because it was off putting to look through the forum and to see certain players bullying others time and time again. Even though I've been lucky enough to evade poor treatment from them outside of this thread, seeing how they treat others was enough for me to cancel senatorship. I've also held off on running some contests to avoid drawing any potentially negative attention from trolls (contests that will contribute to the treasury when I purchase diamonds as prizes). I understand why you wouldn't want to ban paying senators, of course the site should be making money, but I also think it's worth pointing out that having trolls on the site can drive away players who are otherwise willing to pay and be more active, like myself. A couple hurty words here and there may spice up the game, but consistent bullying seems to take a toll on the community. Just my experience/perspective--thank you for your time!
As for the proposal of 3 month PB/SM terms, I think that's a really interesting idea! I already find elections exciting, and this thread certainly seems to have stirred up additional passion, so more frequent elections sound like a good idea to keep the excitement going.

I went back and re read those three posts by Miss Bimbo.
While she is not finished posting her ideas, I think I can make the following conclusions based on what I have read so far.
1. The PB Elections will go forward in January as normal.
2. The Election Programmes Feature will be activated as normal, on January 18, 2024.
3. As of today, only State ministers will be eligible to run.
4. Senator eligibility will be a discussion for Feb.
5. Miss Bimbo is not going to assume the role of Prime Bimbo in Feb. It was a threat only…and maybe still is. I don’t know.
Thats my take so far. Anything can change, I suppose.
But as of right now those assumptions/conclusions are what I’m using
to plan my January...in 2024…in Ximboland.

I’m still a little confused on this - will the whole alts/bots rigging votes be a thing this coming election then or has that been scrapped
The current rules apply until the end of Blecky's terms, which is officially Feb 2nd 8am so upcoming Feb election should be the same as usual. Miss Bimbo said changes are coming after this term is over. Hope we will hear soon what exactly can be expected in February.

Things stay the same until Feb base on what MB said. It means
1) There will be PB election on Feb 1st
2) You can display your program on Jan 15th

I think its looking like the best option is for me to allow sweetasnuts to run as a candidate in the 1st of Feb elections. I know he's busy preparing right now his manifesto and he will present it to you very soon in a bid to be elected the next Prime Bimbo. I wouldn't normally want or allow someone who works for me in Boob Palace to work as Prime Bimbo as well but I think its good to get our democracy back on track

There is no point in people banging on about things that happened previously because what is done is done. Everyone was doing their best under the rules and the republic of Ximboland of the time. As for HLB - its is with regret that I inform she hasnt replied to my emails inviting her back.
I regret not protecting her earlier but I was in a difficult position of not wanting to interfere with the government of the day but also having a soft spot for a long term loyal Bimbo.
That said I am now sure i made a mistake and it was a mistake not protecting her.
Yes she was wild and yes she was naughty and yes she needed throwing in jail sometimes but did she need to be exiled? Executed?
