7% of sexual assaults are perpetrated by strangers. Trans people are 4 times as likely to be the victim of an assault. These people do not 'have a victim complex', they are cautious of the likelihood because it is so common. I'm genuinely glad you have someone to help you feel safe when you need it. I wish that all women, including trans women, had that kind of luxury.

Planet Fitness is being boycotted now because of this. I’d like to remind you that my brother can go into the women’s locker room just by saying he identifies as a woman. He is a big broad-shouldered man; a bull of a man!! lol
Planet Fitness policies would allow him to go in there if he so wished to at any time. Does this seem ok to you? The future safety of women is what I’m worried about not whether a transitioned woman can use the same space as me.
