Anyone who’s engaged with the pop-culture of being a bimbo/himbo/ximbo knows that the modern definition of a ximbo includes a care for and knowledge of politics.
All of our favorite Bimbos have political views and express them because that’s required of them based on their platform.
Snooki- Pennsylvania Leuitenant Governor enlisted Snooki to troll Dr. Oz during the 2022 Pennsylvania Senate Race. EDIT: I forgot to add her mentioning in an episode of Jersey Shore how Barack Obama put a tax on uv tanning so she turned to spray tanning. She also mentioned that Mitt Romney wouldn't have done so.
Trisha Paytas- Publicly endorsed Donald Trump for presidency of the United States of America, voted republican in the 2020 Presidential Election.
Anna Nicole Smith- Feminist, entered political controversy when information regarding her relationship with a Bahamian Politician was released, legal battle for the estate of her husband extended to the United States Supreme Court in the case of Marshall v. Marshall.
Jennifer Coolidge- Democrat, Pro-LGBTQ rights.
Aaliyah’sInterlude- Pro-Palestine, has expressed her stances on consumerism and class.
Chrissy Chapelka- LGBT, Leftist, Feminist, Pro-Choice. One of the pioneers for enlightening the public of the politics involved in being a modern-day bimbo.
Ayesha Erotica- Transgender, Anti-police brutality, Anti-Government corruption, Anti-War On Drugs, recognizes the government’s poisoning of water and food for marginalized communities.

In conclusion, being a bimbo in modern times requires a care for politics. Real bimbos with a platform know that they must be engaged in political discussion. Why should we vote for a candidate who only values half of the website? Why should we vote for a candidate who only values  half of what it takes to be a bimbo?

Hello there,

all you've done here is list off a bunch of your own personal idols (none of which are known to have any affiliation with this website) and labelled them as bimbos, then because this select few bimbos have publicly made their political position on a few issues clear you've come to the conclusion that in order to be considered a bimbo you have to be actively political.

This could be true I suppose, but first, everyone would have to collectively come to a conclusion on the specific definition and criteria of what it takes to be a bimbo and not just take your subjective opinion as matter of fact.

It seems to me that you've come the conclusion that Cherri isn't somebody that meets your own subjective criteria of what it takes to be a bimbo, I'd go on to assume it's because she doesn't value politics in your opinion? This would be a perfectly fair critique; if Cherri had ever stated she doesn't value politics - except, she hasn't done that. In fact, she's stated on multiple occurrences within this very manifesto what some of her political stances are. I feel you're probably basing all of this on the following quote:

"As it stands, I honestly feel real world politics hold little importance over how the site should be run"

If that's the case, you've completely misinterpreted this, she's clearly stating that real world (going as far as to italicize the words to stress their importance) don't really matter when it comes to how this website should be governed. This website is it's own ecosystem and community, the only politics that matter are the politics within this website ergo the only politics that matter to running this website are the politics relevant to it. She actually goes on to make clear that despite her opinion that real world politics don't matter to her in regards to this website, she believes that hate speech in any form should never be allowed (real world or otherwise).

So, to answer your question on why the proverbial we should vote for someone that doesn't value politics - we shouldn't, that would be a completely absurd endeavour. That being said, of the three major candidates currently running (yourself included) none have made it clear they don't value politics, in fact they've all done the opposite. Colour me confused.

Many thanks,
Riḥardhū Higaadh

Heydi

Stating here my public support for you bxdcherri! I say this not as a Slayyycast reporter but as a fellow bimbo who enjoys this site as her escape and had to watch and think very carefully on who she chose. (Also I won't be reporting there on the sites politics for the recent times due to this)
I didn't notice it but we actually joined Ximboland on the same date! The contrast in levels is one of the many things that makes me feel you do have a genuine love for the site and a desire to see it succeed. Also you have conducted yourself with an amazing attitude and maturity in recent times. It is these characteristics that I feel are most important in choosing the Prime Ximbo I vote for, so you will have my vote!

For those of us who are from other states than yours, can you elaborate on your experiences and accomplishments as SM?

Regarding the moderation revamp: will there be any public record of punishments, or would that information stay between FP and their spreadsheet/discord? Why or why not? (I ask this because there has been a lot of concern with transparency recently. I don't personally think we need a record of every warning issued, but it might be good to know about jailing and banning. I think it would help hold FP accountable and build trust if we could see that proof of rules being applied fairly, but I wonder if there are downsides to consider as well? So I'm interested in your thoughts!!)

Perhaps a silly question, but we are a fashionable republic after all--and other candidates have addressed this: will there be any policing of "bad" fashion? If so, what will generally qualify as criminal fashion if you're elected?

Aaaa I don't know how to word this question in the way that would make the most sense, I'm sorry!! Are your stances firm, or subject to change if the rest of PH has conflicting opinions? (I realize this may have multiple answers depending on the section of the manifesto, but I'm curious because this came up in halo's manifesto when she said ximbos should be able to wear whatever they choose, but that they would reconsider jailing ximbos for bad fashion if the other members of PH wanted to do so. I guess this question is, which sections of the manifesto do you view as nonnegotiable vs flexible? Personally, I like your community focus, rewritten rules and moderation ideas, so it would be nice to gauge how firmly you'll stand by those ideas if they are the factors I'm voting on.)

Thanks Pixie for your questions <3 and ty for the acknowledge on the slaycast tactic haha, I figured I'd need to get my name out there quickly since others have done so already, it was also super fun to do!

1) During my time as an SM, I helped guide and lead my state during state wars, securing third place. This was a huge part of my time as being an SM, a really great achievement in our eyes. We largely didn't care about winning, but really pulling through as a team. Unfortunately for the first State Wars, Reasonopia didn't have an active SM, so this was the first time for us to really show everyone, and ourselves, what we could do. I bonded with my state so much during this time, it was an incredible experience, and I loved every minute of it, regardless of it being the most stressful thing I've ever done on this site. We were in a tight spot and really came together to put the odds in our favor. Honestly it was fantastic. Another instance would be my regular submissions of contests, both State Only contests and All state contests, as well as joint State Contests. Not to mention that I wrote and organized the Fashion Week this month, alongside Blecky of course. Some of the contests I've hosted include the Christmas Light Switch On, Ximboland Pokemon, Dreamcore which I posted today, and some others, I also love to help support my other SMs by entering their contests and boosting their posts. When new SMs have joined and asked any questions, I've always been happy to help and answer questions where I can.

2) When reports are sent, they are completely anonymous. This for me has been both a blessing and a curse, as there are times I'd love to chase up a report and let whoever sent it know that the person has received a warning and has been spoken to etc, so players don't feel like nothing is happening when they report people. That being said, is publicly sharing warning information a bit much? I wouldn't want to put people on a pedestal for the world to see unless there was an actual reason behind it. So yeah I agree, warnings may be a bit much. On the topic of jail time though, I'd really like the court case thread to be more active and utilized. I think it would be a good idea that when someone has broken the rules enough times that they are now on the 5th+ offence, meaning jail time is a punishment, this should be known to the public. As of right now though, I'm unsure if there should be a court case for the 5th offence and onwards, or just for the 8th offence, when a full months jail time needs to be issued. I'd like to have a discussion with my FP about this. I appreciate you asking me this! It's prompted me to give more thought around the idea, so thank you. I am also open to any suggestions anyone might have regarding this subject. I think it's important to understand that transparency is necessary when FP remove posts, as this can hinder the flow of a thread and make it confusing and unreadable, same for editing posts. I don't like the idea of FP having the power to simply change someone's words without any kind of notice about it to other players, those words are no longer that persons, and that needs to be made clear. Transparency is very important in those instances. I like the idea of having regular feedback sessions with members on how the site is being ran and how FP are doing. It'd be nice to implement some form of system for players to submit anonymous feedback for myself and FP to read, so we can continue to help the community out in a fair way for everyone. Sorry, I'm thinking out loud at this point haha, didn't mean to derail.

3) No, there will be no policing of bad fashion. The issue with this is that "bad fashion" is interpretational. I believe this website to be a place of expression and creativity, and feel punishing people for doing that is a bad idea. One person might see something as bad, while another person sees it as amazing. It's too much of a can of worms. Not only that, but newer players will really struggle to be making stereotypically "good outfits" due to money restrictions. There is no such thing as bad fashion in the Republic I plan to run, I want to run a democracy, not a dictatorship.

4) I stand firmly with every point I've written in my manifesto, however, some things in my manifesto are forcibly flexible, due to administration restrictions. For example, the better block feature is something I firmly stand on, however I may not be able to get it implemented since I can't go and code it myself. Referring to my answer to question 2, I like the idea of having open discussions on things like punishments with my FP, I think a large part of moderating is having somewhat unanimous decisions. I might not want to punish someone for something, however my FP might want to. Having flexibility is good here, as we can have a talk about it and come to some form of agreement or compromise if that's the case. The actual system for punishment is firm and non-negotiable, however. In terms of the fashion thing and answer 3, no, that is in no way flexible, and my FP would not convince me otherwise. In my personal opinion, I see no reasons to write out these points within my manifesto, if they are subject to change based on a few people's opinions. If I want to run a democracy, no one is going to change my stance. I'm not going to be convinced in doing something that would turn it into a dictatorship. I feel as a leader you need someone who stands firmly with their beliefs and opinions, it shows drive and commitment. If everything I say is subject to change, what are you really voting for, I could just change it whenever I fancied. I hold myself accountable to the statements and claims that I make, it's the right thing to do. Players choosing to vote for me are putting their trust in me and I do not take that for granted. I will not undermine and disrespect that. This position of power is a big deal, I'm not going to abuse it.

I hope these have helped you get a better understanding of my manifesto, if you need anything further clearing up or have any more questions I'd be happy to answer them! <3 Also I apologize for any errors, my brain has decided that today is not a good day for spelling lol.

Thanks for replying to previous set of questions. If you don't mind here are new ones.

1) What do you think about 2 months terms? I think you said already in another thread that you also prefer 3 months terms. So far we can't judge what is better, we have yet to see how it looks like. If we try to consider pros and cons of having it 2 months, what are in your opinion pros and cons?

2) Similar questions other two candidates got already, what do you think about MoFA role?
2.1. Did you consider appointing your MoFA?
2.2. If yes, what would you expect from them?
2.3. Do you think that role deserves more exposure or find it rather irrelevant?

3) If eventually happens you lose, will you consider taking part in next PB election?

4) Is there something you would like to say about your bf besides 'He’s a big boy, he can do what he wants after all.'?

5) Are you aware there is also a 4th candidate? There was the 5th one too whose program was up yesterday tho it's withdrawn now.

Hi Lilly! Sorry I couldn't quote your post I think the button is bugging?

1) I think 2 months is a very short time and it may prove difficult to get things done. I think opening up the opportunity for people to run more frequently is a cool idea, although in practice I don't think it will work as great. I feel people may get fatigued in running every two months, and the excitement of the elections doesn't hit as hard. It's like, yeah it'd nice if Christmas was everyday, but it wouldn't at the same time, if that makes sense? I don't remember saying 3 months is a good idea, but now that you mention it I think it's a better option that just 2 months. I think we've all just gotta test the waters with this change and see what happens.

2) I wasn't aware of the site having an MoFA role until maybe three months ago, I think. It'd be nice if it was a more publicly visible role on the site. I think it's a good position and someone can have a lot of fun with it, though I also feel it's another voluntary role that doesn't get any official pay, which is sad. If someone is willing to put that time and effort in to do it for free, then by all means that's a great benefit to the site. But, MoFA is essentially the social media manager for XL, I feel that's a position that shouldn't be voluntary, and should be a part of Team Ximbo. Although, with Chris' recent posts, I find this role to be somewhat contradictory? He would prefer the site users to stay on the site and use this site as our social media, but also wants it advertised on other social medias. I really enjoy the thought of attracting new players onto the site, at the end of the day I came here from a famous YouTube video and have loved it ever since. I'd love for that to be the case for other people to. It's important to get the site out there and known, though I feel it's a bit cheeky for it to be a players responsibility to do that. However, I'm not opposed to the idea of having an MoFA at all, just that in an ideal world, that should be someone who is officially hired by the site owner in my opinion. Yes, PB benefits from having more users on the site because of the treasury, but the owner benefits a lot more.
2.1) I did have a candidate in mind for MoFA, yes, though I wasn't going to ask them until after the elections. I'm more focused on finding the right candidates for my Fashion Police right now. (If anyone reading is interested in helping to moderate the site - you can apply here :))
2.2) I'm quite unfamiliar with what is already expected of MoFA to be truthful, it's clear I need to do some research on the matter, so thank you for brining it up. From what I understand, MoFA takes control of the Ximboland Instagram and uses it to try and gain new players on the site. Using this logic, I would've discussed responsibilities and ideas between me and the person I chose, as I wouldn't expect them to be as active as FP or myself. I had someone in mind who I thought would really peak the interest of non-site users and bring them over, without putting too much stress on the position.
2.3) I've kinda answered this in my first two answers lol sorry. I wouldn't say the role is irrelevant, more underdeveloped.

3) I don't see why not! I've had a lot of fun so far. If I don't win, I still get to continue my role as State Minister which I love, so I'll keep truckin' on until the next election haha.

4) My bf is a difficult person lmao. Anyone who has ever met him has always said "I've never met anyone like you before, you nutcase", truth be told. He has his lovers and he has his haters. He can be unpredictable, and that never makes our relationship boring. What I admire about him, is that he doesn't give a flying fuck about what people think of him, which is a stark contrast to myself. He grounds me when I worry too much about what people are saying, and I ground him when he worries too little. I love him with all my heart, though I recognize he's not everyone's cup of tea. However, despite him being my bf it does not cloud my judgement. A lot of the times his simple bluntness is interpreted as rude and insulting, though this is not against the rules. Both of us have autism, and struggle with the idea of sugar coating everything you say to appear likeable. I care about this a lot, whereas he doesn't. I want to moderate fairly, I wouldn't try to control how someone else presents themselves on the site and tell them what they can and can't say if there's no rule being broken, so why should I do it to him. Trust me though, I recognize when he's being an outright ass! That is why I've given him two official warning about his behavior since he's joined XL. I hope this helps to demonstrate that I'm unbiased when it comes to moderating. Please believe me when I say, I do not agree with everything he does/says.

5) Yes, I believe it's Sandi Lut and KatieBoutique who you are referring to. I'm excited to see who else might crop up since the new senator changes are now in place.

Thank you for your feedback and questions, I hope the answers are to your liking <3
