Senatorship was always worth it to me for the sake of gameplay, so I'm honestly bummed that I had to cancel.

But there are better ways for me to spend my money. Ones that don't involve handing any more over to a man who thinks we're all stupid pawns and that he knows better than the people who spend countless hours trying to support the community in whatever ways they can. Ones that would be willing to spend even more hours if they were welcomed into discussions.

Fem!Ben Shapiro

I believe that we should take a hard stance on this. The states should have all the power, period. All a bloated government does is weigh down on the people and enable laziness within the senate and judicial system.

So I say no. We should funnel more and more power into individual states based on merit- as such, Reasonopia will be given the majority. Perhaps more than the current Prime Bimbo herself.

Fem!Ben Shapiro please don't do it now. We all get you are not serious and you are parodying a certain public person but this is not time and place for this, at least not this thread. It just doesn't help and even worse could be contra-productive.

Thanks for understanding!

not to get us even further off track but while we're on the subject honestly @fem ben shapiro what are you even doing? what joy or kicks do you get of roleplaying a parody of classist, transphobic, alt-right shithead? your "parodying" of him just consists of repeating bigot dogwhistles and slogans and changing some words around to fit the context of bimboland. like i get bimboland has some mechanics that are supposed to mimic irl politics but we don't need that kind of shit on here. at best it gives one or two people a chuckle, at worst it reminds marginalized individuals of tactics and words that have been used against them and leaves them feeling alienated and unsafe on bimboland.

I understand where you're coming from and to some extent, I agree, however I find parodying awful people (Especially ones that have veneers of credibility) shows people how ridiculous they and their words are. Mocking his manner of speaking or talking points helps show him as a clown rather than someone to be considered seriously. At least, that's what I think. Totally understand if you disagree.

i totally agree, and i think that might be what this person was going for, but they're literally just...... repeating his talking points. the only changes is to just fit the context of bimboland.

like? they asked why there were hijabs and niqabs and burkas (theres not, theres just a hijab) in the shops but not kippahs and talked about 'religious favoritism'
on bimboland. thats literally just an islamophobic dogwhistle and scare tactic used in real life situations, and if people in the thread hadn't quickly shut it down there might be some naive and ill-informed people who actually took it as a legitimate criticism to think about and consider, especially if they believed that there were lots of head-coverings in the shop like the post said and not one single item. over-exaggerating the presence of muslims and muslim culture in western places is a way bigots scare people into thinking muslims are a threat. i absolutely don't think that particular forum post would change someone to that line of thinking, but it plants a seed of a concept that doesnt need to be there, and its disrespectful.

That's a very good point. I hadn't seen them say that (I've seen them once or twice only, I think.) That is definitely something they should consider moving forward with their satire. It doesn't work if we're not all in on the joke of how stupid the guy is, especially when it's just copy-pasting what he said.
