I'm really sorry to hear so many of you are struggling right now. I hope you're all finding little sparks of joy in everyday and that if you aren't, your days are becoming brighter and you're finding ways to cope. I'm always happy to listen if you need someone. 

I've been feeling better in some respects but not in others - I don't have any diagnosed MH concerns but I find my job very stressful and I'm feeling so grateful to be on my summer holidays right now. I stressed myself to the point where I had no period for over 60 days so that was less than fun. The only thing I'm really struggling with right now is my eating :( can't seem to keep anything down and not in the mood to eat at other times which I know isn't good. I'm hopeful that this is just a stress-related symptom and I'll be back to feeling more like myself soon.

I feel extremely burnt out caring for my depressed girlfriend. I'm tired of thinking all the time of what I need to do for her only for her to rarely think about what I might need. She'll promise to make breakfast or do the dishes one day and then completely forget about it the next day. It's exhausting. And I feel like I can't get too mad at her because of her mental illness. And on top of caring for her, I live with my dad and sisters and I'm the one managing the household. I do the dishes in the morning only to find the sink is full two hours later. I just wish someone else would put in a fraction of the work for me that I put into them.

really bad :-/ I finally got diagnosed with ADHD so I'm hoping things will start looking up, but it really hurts having everyone think that you're stupid and lazy and fail on purpose and that you need to be punished and yelled at for every mistake. i just got in a huge argument with my mom about it and her response to ignoring my mental issues my whole life is always "i can't turn back time" but she makes no changes to how she acts and she doesnt help she just keeps yelling at me and punishing me for making mistakes or forgetting to do things. like i'm sorry and i'm trying my hardest but i'm not like this just on purpose. she can't even take responsibility for ignoring my needs (but when my sister thought she had anxiety they got her a therapist right away... of course).

A diagnosis is great because hopefully now you can get some answers and some help and be happier. But remember that your diagnosis does not define who you are and nor does what other people say or think. It sounds like that your family does not understand you or your condition and their lashing out at you is indicative of that, it is their frustration - it is their shame NOT yours! If there isnt anyone who who understands and supports you then you should try to find someone to support you because trying to get on top of mental health problems alone is really hard, and if their isn’t somebody in your life then their are many wonderful online support groups. You may need to educate your mother about ADHD and how it impacts you and perhaps then she may be able to understand and support you. Take care xx

I suffer from mild hypochondria and have been sitting at home for the past 3 weeks due to a burnout. Although reading up all the info surrounding this makes me anxious, it also gives me confidence in a strange way. I'm slowely prepping ( grabbing a few extra things everything at the grocery store) and knowing Ill have enough food and such for a couple weeks reassures me

And it just motivates me more to strife for a healthier lifestyle. Healthy body equals better immune system. So when my thoughts are overpowering me, much like with my burnout, I focus on the better things. Go out for a walk, get busy with a hobby, grab some coffee at friends or do some cleaning around the house.

not great. another night with no sleep... i have bipolar I (tmi?) ive always struggled much much more with mania. im on the strongest antipsychotics there are and where my mania is not NEARLY as bad as it was before i was on my medications, its still hypomania every other week. i sleep for 1 to 3 hours a day, maybe that. my brain is getting weird and cloudy. the world seems so far away, like there is a thick pane of glass between me and the rest of the world. its starting to really mess with my marriage too... 

on the bright side, i have you all here to chat with and keep me company! everything will get better, guys. nothing is forever. absolutely nothing. could be a week. two. a month. maybe more. but its not forever. please hang in there and stay strong. ♥
