We use Shot-gun's for shooting.
What is basically a 'clay disk' thrown at high speed, Down-range, as a target.
I'm so good at it, I even put my son's to shame.... [Still]
They will use a 12 gauge, which is HUGE and scatter's shot, EVERYWHERE.
You cant miss a clay'duck' with that.
I use a 410, which is basically the size of a .45 caliber, shell with very tiny metal balls, normally used to kill snake's at short range. My 'skeet-shooting' weapon is basically an over sized 45 mag, but is also a 'Babies' weapon.
Literally, it is a 'Child's first shot-gun, but I LOVE it, and out shoot, my adult son's with much more powerful shotguns any day !!!!!!!!
I love that 'Baby shotgun' so much !!!! Even other gun owner's laugh when they see my personal,
'Bird-killing weapon of choice'
But the trick is : The ammunition I put into IT.
Imagine 3 copper pennies, with 2 layer's of microscopic razor-blades sandwiched between the copper layer's.
These shot-gun shells are very expensive to buy, and generally not used to 'piss away on clay target's'.
I use them, in my 'BABY shot-gun'. I even fire my shot-gun single handed, like a pistol. The barrel length being 24 inches.
It shocks people to see me do that in a 'skeet shooting event.'.
It is NOT NATURAL for people accustomed to just blowing off a CANNON with 48 inches, and a full choking barrel, and still missing the target.
