I'd be way more inclined to believe you want to protect bimboland from hate if you were talking about the black people who are born already systematically mistreated AND KILLED by the "group of people we're inciting hate towards", which if it needs reminding, are just people who chose to do a job. They're not born cops, they're not systematically mistreated and killed, they're not turned away from jobs or paid less because of being cops. They just chose to do this job they're brainwashed to think means protecting the people, when in reality has never entailed anything of the sort.

Some cops are bad, truly horribly evil. But most cops are good and decent people. Don't judge all of them for what a few did.

I'm just saying, you can have thousands of "good cops," but if they're not actively working to call out and prosecute/fire/etc bad cops, they're bad cops too. You can't uphold the status quo AND have positive change. And you say "just a few" but it's been shown that many cops repeatedly abuse and kill black people, at a disproportionately higher rate than people of other races.

law enforcement as an institution in america was formed out of anti-blackness and protection of private property and capital. in the north, the first police forces were formed in industrialized cities. before then, owners of large companies paid for people to protect their shipments and property. but by creating a police force, they could save money by transferring the costs to citizens through their taxes, while claiming they benefited from it because of the enforcement of law and order.
in the south, police forces formed directly from "slave patrols", groups of armed white men who caught runaway slaves. after the civil war and during reconstruction, law enforcement served almost the exact same function, enforcing segregation and making sure freed slaves were only freed in name.

while i know for a fact there are lots of people who choose to be police officers because they have an idea in their heads of being bastions of safety and protection of the vulnerable, that is simply not the reality. no matter their intentions, police officers choose to make it their job to enforce the law-- every law. they do not get to pick and choose which laws they enforce. and the law heavily favors white, cishet, neurotypical, able-bodied people. that is the system they are choosing to dedicate themselves to uphold.
i live in a city with "good" cops. we had a massive peaceful protest a couple of days ago. i was there. our police chief walked with us, talked to us, spoke about diversity and accountability and "policing with respect". videos of him have gone viral nationwide. he's even done good things in the past. he's been the police chief for about three years, and as soon as he got the job he fired a cop who had previously gone unpunished for killing an unarmed black man. he's a "good cop".
but a couple of hours after he joined protesters, shared our grief and pain, his police force came in, announced over a loudspeaker that this was "no longer a peaceful assembly" and trampled, gassed, and arrested protesters.
where was he? where was the man tearfully talking about how much he loves this city and its diversity and its people? nowhere to be found. just like all the other "good cops".
american law enforcement was created to maintain status quo and to keep people at bay through threat or use of violence. people obey out of fear. it's not a few bad apples ruining it for everyone else. it is a system working exactly as it was intended to from its creation, and people with good intentions sign up for it and carry out its horrific deeds. by denying this you are only continuing the cycle of abuse.
edit: also totally forgot to mention that american prisons are essentially slavery, inmates are made to do manual labor and dangerous jobs such as being """volunteer""" firefighters for literal cents a day, and inmates are disproportionately black and brown people. so law enforcement to this day are still slave patrols

But something that I really wanted to point out is what's going on right this moment here. Instead of folks allowing their emotions to speak before their minds, and just being reduced to name-calling and anger, we're for the most part, just having a pretty calm debate. I wanted to commend Railophone and Juggalo Rights in particular for remaining calm, civil, and citing their opinions with factual articles and statistics. Their posts, along with the ones that are currently still visible, don't break any of the forum rules and perhaps will incite some peaceful responses, either further for their arguments, or attempting to put forward a counter argument. THESE posts are part of the kinds of discussions that rational adults can participate in and learn/grow from, regardless of whether we agree or disagree on the topic up for debate.
