Hello beautiful bimbos and himbos!

As you may have noticed, we have started getting more and more new items in the shops which is really wonderful and it makes this game so much better.

But did you know that bimbos who work behind the scenes get paid unequally and randomly? Meanwhile some get free senatorships, some get randomly maybe 300 diamonds every now and then? Some have worked more than others and still receive the same or even worse payment for their work. Some add new clothes, some design and some recolor.

These bimbos work voluntarily but their part of this game is unspeakably important. I'm saying again something I said few months back: After all this is a fashion game.

As I read through the forums and talked to various bimbos behind the scenes about how unequally they are paid or not paid at all for their work, I can't stop feeling a little guilty. And I honestly don't think I'm alone with these feelings.

We, who don't work at shops at all, get a full advantage of their hard work. We don't necessarily have to pay any real money for the items that they put their very real time into.

I understand that they can't be paid with a real money in this current situation, but the least bimboteam could do is to make shopworker's bimbolife easier and do it with a good sense of justice and equally.

I have some ideas, but I honestly think shopworkers know better than me but here we go:

-Pay shopworkers equally and systematically: Different or same prizes for each action (adding items / recoloring / designing)

-Pay shopworkers realistically. If they add more, pay more. (same goes for designers and bimbos who do recolorings)

- Create a system where they can sign once they have done some of these actions

- Pay shopworkeres in the same time

I'm not sure what to do about senatorship subscription. Others have bought it themselves and others have gotten it gifted. Should it be given to all shopworkers equally?

Meanwhile you think about this, go thank our precious shop staff:

I agree with this post, but I would like to add that realistically, someone who creates 2 items a month should not be paid the same as someone who works in the shop 4-6 hours a day. "Payment" should be decided based upon work put in, quantity, quality, and time.

Yeah, I agree but probably didn't put it clearly enough there. Sorry about that.
"-Pay shopworkers equally and systematically: Different or same prizes for each action (adding items / recoloring / designing)"
I stated this to make sure that you get paid for what you do (and how often). For example you get more rewards for adding 20 items than adding only 1. And also I wish there would be a good system to do that, maybe creating some file where shopworkers could sign and add possible designers as well (unless they have access to that file too).
Maybe i will ask some mod to edit it a little bit.

Thank you to all the people that create items and recolor items in the shop! You may not hear it very often, but it is greatly appreciated! <3

As far as payment for your work goes, I would suggest that at the very least you automatically get the item you made or recolored for free. And perhaps a monthly payment of in-game currency based on the amount of work done? (I don't think real money is the way to go.)

Ulvhild, your ideas are great. I think everyone in shops should get something and more if they get like super excited uploading stuff.
I really wish to hear more from shopworkers how they would like things to be.
I hate the unequality especially when I am one of the hundreds of bimbos getting the true advantage.
Once we have listed the ideas, I will be sending them to kimsim (like the last time for new outfit slots and categories).
I can't really promise anything, but at least this will make the problem known!

I totally agree that our shop workers should be rewarded for their work. Some of them actually do hours of work a day and get nothing or just some meager reward that is in no comparison for the work they do.
And they are underappreciated by Team Bimbo and ourselves really. Not all of us but watching some bimbo's demand items be fixed or adapted then my skin crawls.
So they should not only get rewarded but also get appreciated! :)

This is a really really great thread Toki! The shop workers have to do so much work and so much of it is invisible 'cuz it's not new items or recolors. They have to fix buggy clothes that few people can even be bothered to report and that is, like, completely invisible! They have to find images for clothes that have missin' textures - how does one even do taht? There's so much stuff that goes on behind the scenes that's like impossible to see and they don't get nearly enough appreciation for what they do. And then they do their own work, their own creations, refits for Jessica boobs, refits for himbos, recolors... They search online for new stuff to adapt and add to the shops, they create their own clothes.... Like Sandi said, it takes hours out of their days to do this. Some do it for minor compensation, some do it totes for free....

And then there's the other creators that make stuff for the shops. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone except sillicabody for all their efforts. And even then their work has to go through the shop workers to be uploaded - even more work that they do voluntarily for pittance or nothin'. Anyway, all the shop creators (but the one) do their best job and I've seen a lot of their creations used all over Bimboland. Like the shop workers, they get paid infrequently and usually only when someone asks Team Bimbo to compensate 'em for their efforts.

Which, fair point, Team Bimbo don't work on this game full time, it's a side project for 'em. So they can't be expected to constantly be on the lookout for new clothes additions so they can instantly reward creators. Which is why I think this initiative is so good. Somethin' like a weekly or biweekly award dependin' on the amount of work (not just new creations) done. I feel super shitty for receivin' the same amount of diamonds as LillyAnn when she's done like 2000 times the work I have. I also totes agree with Ulvhild regardin' the payment. Real money is a big no no. It can cause so many issues it's just not worth it. But bein' paid in diamonds works and it works super well. I also like the idea of gettin' your new creations (not recolors) for free from the store if you made 'em, but that's probs a super difficult thing to implement since giftin' clothes isn't a thing. Senatorship is a nice reward too, but I also get that it's a much harder thing to give away since like, if you're gonna spend any money on Bimboland, you're gonna do it for senatorship.

So yes, support our friendly shop worker bees, support the lifeblood of Bimboland's fashion industry :D

I would say that should be a separate status for shop workers and they totally should be paid with in-game currency. Like monthl payment in diamonds or something. Depends also of number of created item. I totally admire your skills, guys and I'm grateful that you do whole that work like for nothing. Maximum for fame if your item goes to be a bestseller ;) But anyway, what I want to say. For work done should be payment done. And making the shop richer in items is such great contribution to our joyness.

Ok just personally as a designer/creator/whatever you'd like to call it, I would really love if I could get the creations I've made in my own closet. At least then I don't have to spend the time making it, plus the additional time and effort to get the money just to buy something I made myself.
I'll defer opinions on the rest of the reward system to the more experienced.

Edit: Also thank you so much Toki for making this thread!

First, I want to say thank you for starting this thread and initiative and supporting us.

Regarding compensation for the work, we are aware that real money is not an option for many reasons. About senatorship, some of us already were senators and I guess it's our decision. Personally I wouldn't quit my subscruption, partly because of benefits it gives, partly because it helps the system and in my opinion 10$ per months isn't such a big deal if it gives us fun.

On gifting clothes to designers - maybe some system like picking one item/color from each set of creations. If items couldn't be just transfered in designer's closet, they can get the sum of money equal to the sum of items so they can buy them without a need for collecting money for buying own items. I believe that designers like their own items, in the first place they wouldn't made something they don't like to see in their closet. Plus, prize for their work.

There is difference between making items from the scratch, recoloring existing items, refitting existing items and doing let's call administrative work in shop (under that I mean fixing titles, prices, positions and similar things witch are not 'creative' work). I am not a designer (can make some items here and there but can't do something big and impressive when it comes to designing), but believe that designing work is the hardest part here - designer needs the idea first and then to come to realization of that idea. That is both creative and technical, requests skills, time and inspiration. We know we can't expect some copyrights over items, branding and similar, but at least we can give a credit to designers and respect their work.

Refitting work is easier than designing, yet it's harder than recoloring, more time consuming and requests more technical skills.

Recoloring - not hard, less time consuming, expects some skills but it's really not too complicated, the work per se is creative and not boring

Fixing titles and positions - the easiest part but not creative, time consuming, kinda boring

Uploading items - basically technical detail, not hard, takes some time, depends on item - uploading some items goes pretty fast, while other items request a bit more time for positioning them properly and these are usually small items

This is some short description on how it looks like, at least from my perspective.

I would also add Temisasa on the list above. She helped me a lot with backgrounds for himbos, plus already had some items refitted for himbos when I asked her first time for backgrounds.
