Wanted to note that I currently pay for senatorship. Had I known I had to option to accept senatorship for my work, I would have. Because then I could spend that $10 on actual B$ or diamonds. Things were never clear for anyone.
I am on board with checking off or signing off on things we’ve done, as a way to keep track of our work. It could be like a google spreadsheet or whatever shareable document. Then rewards can be given per workload done. Shop workers do a lot of tedious and important work behind the scenes and should be compensated for that as well.

Hello there and sorry I have been away for a week, I was on a vacation but now I'm back. I'm a bit concerned that there isn't so much response about this issue.
As a shopper I would be happy to know that people who work behind the scenes would get equal payments.
And if I was a shopworker, I would want things to be even more equal.

@railophone, I like your idea about spreadsheet. That would totally work and wouldn't be time-consuming.
They also should make somekind of list of payments.

Would a spreadsheet like this work for what you're envisioning? I'm doing my own for personal records at the moment, and it takes me no time at all to do. I work in Excel/Sheets all the time and could do whatever other versions anyone is thinking of. Payment records, shopkeepers logging their work, whatever.

EDIT: I've made two spreadsheets now and put my own info up there for the sake of giving more detailed examples.

Xtina, that spreadsheet is amazing! I also don't think it would be too much trouble to fill it now that the base is finished. It's clear and has even Bimboland colors :P

About senatorship... Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but right now it's only been given free to shopworkers (not designers or people who recolor), right? I think it should stay that way since new designers seem to come and go. And it would be more simple, but you may feel free to tell your ideas.
LillyAnn earlier mentioned that she has always been paying for her senatoriship herself and she is a very active shopworker. Meanwhile some rather inactive shopworkers received free senatorship.
Maybe shopworkers should be given an option to get their payment as senatorship or diamonds? And what to do about inactive shopworkers? I mean all of you have been around lately, but some of you have also disappeared for longer periods without uploading anything? It's absolutely understandable that you have a real life, but meanwhile you are gone, active shopworkers have been uploadig stuff and inactive ones got still the payment.
I don't know how realistic having the payment correlate with your amount of uploading really is. As I have been thinking this whole thing further, I think the spreadsheet is the only option right now. It would just be a little more work once again. And if you forget to fill it, just do it next time, right? Would it be too messy?

If I'm not mistaken some shopworkers were given a senatorship for a month or a max of 3 months. As far as I know no shopworker has gotten a senatorship longer than that.

Oh no I didn’t mean to say that I had deserved senatorship or anything, but had that been an option I absolutely would have chosen it. :)

I agree designers are more likely to come and go and therefore things should be based on amount of work submitted, but I guess with that comes the question of - what determines amount of payment for work done? Is each action payable? If payment is done by tier like 100, 200, 300 etc diamonds, what determines the threshold? I guess that’s something that is yet to be determined if this idea comes to fruition.

I do like the spreadsheet a lot. Looks easy to fill out and understand.

Omg, sorry dear railophone, I didn't mean to sound like that I was pointing at you. It was just my thinking that things would be more simple if only shopworkers got senatorship (or optionally diamonds) and designers/re-colorers would get paid by diamonds. And this is simply because some designers come and go and even might cause drama, as we saw what happened with SiliconeBody. But sure, if designers/re-colorers stick around for longer and added designs more than once in months, maybe they could be offered a senatorship option as well :)

Maybe someone who knows better about things could set prices for each action? Then shopworkers, designers and re-colorers could use the spreadsheet, then someone from Bimboteam could check it out once in a month and send a payment for each of them?

Oh no offense taken lol. I definitely agree with your stance on this. :)

I definitely do not have the full knowledge to come up with prices but in terms of purely recoloring (for example), some recolors are super easy and take absolutely no time at all. Some others are far more complicated, or require a more drastic change in color that takes longer because you are ensuring specific details from the original are not lost when adjusting tones. These would potentially pose a problem when coming up with prices because the level of effort of the “same job” is totally different.

True, not all recolors are just simply recolors. It's exactly like Railophone said and I can confirm. Some are indeed supper easy, especially when original item is of better quality. Others sometimes require more drastic modifications and adjustments of colors. There are few ways of how one can change item color. Some items look well with using only one or two color changing option, others require a mix of everything what one has on disposal of options, or adding additional details to ensure highlights and contrasts if pic looks too plain. So, basically, some recolors are bigger modifications than it's visible at the first sight and later in shop.

What if you guys used the spread Sheet to add a category of difficulty for recolours.  Easy 50 Diamonds Med 75, Hard 100. That's The Min Amount for 10 Items..? just a suggestion, but Idk how you guys get stuff done .
